Sarcophagus puzzle solution

[Post New]by LizzieK on May 23, 10 9:13 AM
Sarcophagus puzzle solution

From the starting position:

Rotate the blue ball clockwise 1 time

Rotate the red ball clockwise 5 times

Rotate the green ball clockwise 5 times

Rotate the purple ball clockwise 7 times

There is no need to rotate the orange ball.

I have a screen shot if needed.

You're welcome. A solution is also in the walkthrough by BrownEyedTigre .

I have tried this about 8 times- using both formulas given in the forum and on the walk thru. I started at the beginning and rotated the blue ball x1clockwise then put it into position as shown on map and on walk thru. I did the red one clockwise x5, green one clockwise x 5 left the orange one and then tried both options for pink clockwise x 7 and counterclockwise x 4.
I tried doing 5 full rotations (ie from start position to start position x 5 then put it into position) and I also tried putting it into position on rotation number 5. It didn't work.
What is supposed to happen once the balls are in place?
Does the sarcophagus open? Do you know when a ball is in the right place? Does it get "locked in place"?
This is driving me nuts.
Thanks

The sacophagus puzzle has gotten so bad for me, that I quit the game. If you cannot have puzzles that work, then they should not be in the game.

cheersmedearz lizzie - figured out the solution but the angle of the puzzle shot and the map are so way off it is almost impossible to work out where the positions were exactly (even tried using the sun rays for a counter since they match n.e.w.s.!)

That's what the quarter-markers are for on star map and sarcophagus.
