Final Cut: Death on the Silver Screen

When playing some Big Fish Games, the game will load fine and play as it should but after 30 seconds goes off the screen. I can re-activated the game with the icon on the taskbar but it continues to go off on me as I try to play the game. I have used the compatibility program and have it set for win 8. I have an HP windows 8 program but still have this problem. Some of my other BFGame have the same problem.
What changes do I need to make to help them run smoothly without cutting out on me? |

IT DOWNLOADED FINE BUT THE RESOLUTION WAS TOO HIGH AND I COULD NOT PLAY THE GAME BECAUSE I COULD NOT SEE THE INVENTORY,OR THE TASK BAR. COULD YOU MAKE IT SMALLER FOR ME? LIKE YOU DID FOR BRASS HOUSE??

My question has to do with the resolution. Is it possible to adjust the required resolution for a smaller, 1024 - 600 maximum, 10" Acer laptop? 1024 - 786 is required by the game.
