Looks like I'm the only one who's disappointed in this game. I love all the Hidden Expedition Hidden Object games. This is more of a puzzle game or a find-the-right-room-at-the-right-time game. After my trial hour expired, I uninstalled it. Since I loved the other Hidden Expedition games, I was totally bummed at this one not being anything like them.

I'm not the world's fastest player (understatement). If you skip the dialogue, you can probably finish this game in the trial period.

I bought it, then finished it really soon afterwards. What a disappointment.

The story line was compelling. I thoroughly enjoyed the drawings, too.

The automation of the characters' speech was quite tedious and allowed far too much time to read it. There needed to be a way to click on it to advance to the next frame after you had read it. The only option is to skip it entirely, which I didn't want to do.

The game is more like a movie walk-through than a game, which certainly isn't what I expected. I agree with BossBrat that the game really took no skill to play.

Bouncing manatees can hurt...a LOT!

Thanks

Ignore everything except matches. Do your best to get eight matches in a row and the time boosters. If you just keep doing that, eventually they'll all be wiped out.

The only other thing I do is click the yellow ones on the left to start, and I don't click the blue ones on the right until I have no other matches.

Now my nemesis is 4-whatever -- the one where you get the added color. I just can't see the matches fast enough to get eight in a row, and there aren't as many of them to see, even if I could see them.

If you can quickly make 8 matches of 3 or more tiles together, you get a lot of added bonus time. With sound on, you can hear the progression and also can hear the fanfare when you get the added time bonus.

I bought the game and played through putting the fourth serpent in the picture. Now all I get is an access violation and it won't even let me load the game.

Can anyone please help? Either I need for it to work, or I'd like my money back.

sigh.

This game is very buggy. I have received memory exception errors. Now the hints have disappeared although I have collected them all. And now I'm stuck on a hidden object screen. It's the scene that looks like a mission and gives you outlines to find. I have clicked on every pixel in the scene (including the sky) three times and the item just isn't there. Without using a hint, I am at an impass.

It's the wedding scene.

Here's a screencap:

I was able to restart the level until I finally didn't get that symbol, which appears to be a sombrero. I still have no hints. Note the messed up lower right side of the screen where the hints should be.

In a prior scene (a ball-room-type room), two of the items on the screen placed themselves over the list of items to be found, so I had to just click the screen until I found them all, seeing as how I had no idea what I was looking for.

I'd really like my money back on this one.

Can this really go on forever?

Any word about when the sequel or new game by the same publisher will be out?

This is my favorite HO game.

I was so looking forward to this. I got stuck outside the house. Finally gave up and uninstalled it. I won't be buying this one. I'm very disappointed. Loved Ravenhearst and have gifted it to several people. Was hoping for something similar to the original, as the graphics were so good on the hidden objects. This one is too much like work. *sigh*
