Unfortunately this previous post was too late to make a difference. Thank you to those who supported it. We tried.

If the players are not supporting the game via monetary purchases, then the devs are almost forced to move to something that will generate revenue. The game may simply be placed "on the back burner", or it may be abandoned altogether, as we are seeing here.

Unfortunately this is the reality of FTP games.[i]

silver_hawk wrote:I never expected AK or any other FTP to last forever. As you stated, there are reasons it simply can't. Game companies have to keep looking for the "new and fresh" ideas to gain revenue to stay in business.

They could have at least took a moment (even if a very brief one) given an update just to tie up loose ends and make the game come to a meaningful conclusion and give us some closure for remaining faithful and loyal players.

The fact that the game remained unfinished is what angers me the most. I happily put money into this game that could have gone into purchasing loads of "finished" games. I purchased many of the other "Awakening" games because of this one. I have only played 2 other FTP games which I've found to be monotonous so for now I will leave FTP games alone.

I will miss this game. I still think this was the most interesting of the online games.

But at the same time I am deeply disappointed that it went the way it did. I understand it was a difficult decision but was keeping the players under the delusion it would update for over three months really necessary?

I kind of wish they'd at least do a last update to give the game a sense of closure.

A lot of time, effort, and hard earned cash have been invested in this game by many players, not to mention the agonizing wait for an update that never came. And whichever side the deceit came from, THAT is shameful.

I agree with everyones comments that have been added to this subject.
Yes, NoFishToday I am angry as I invested money into this game less than 2 months ago. I was really sad to hear this news as I love this game.

The news may have been accepted better if they at least had finished the story.

thats to go into creating more "Casino" games. @#$%^(*&^$#@ censored.

Why did they take my money less than 2 months ago when there was uncertainty at their end with the game?

This is the only “free game’ that I really love, so much that once I started I then purchased Crystals & also purchased the other Awakening Games. So happy your working on an “U…..”.

If any other gamers would like to add their names to support the “I Love This Game” the busy Devs might take time to read how popular/loved the game is.

The rude person that said that obviously didn't realize that these Auctions are in the "Game World" where most gamers are happy to help one another which in turn makes the game more enjoyable. I just feel sorry for new players that buy from them since bolgins/gold/coins take a long time to accumulate.

The selling price some of the Sellers ask for is outrageous. I just hope nobody buys from them. I prefer to help other gamers. Thankfully there are many kind gamers who sell at a reasonable price.

Yes, I knew the quests were optional but I'm trying to get the "Complete 500 Daily Quests" Achievement, so I didn't read the quest properly. I've also mistakenly fulfilled THAT quest when I misclick a flower & click her portrait instead. Serves me right for playing when I'm tied.

where she asks you to Help 5 Friends then TAKES your Thank You Cards.
I initially misunderstood this Quest (i.e didn't read it properly) so lost heaps of cards & I have also accidentally clicked on her which completes the Quest so have lost cards. I'm happy to help friends but at this rate I'll never get to Craft more Pets

It's happening in my game too, on off, on off etc

I'm just hoping that I'm not losing any items.

You'll get heaps & heaps of messages from the chest saying "The Chest was not satisfied" (or something like that). It takes multiple feeds just to get 1 Rune so you may find it frustrating. I had to feed it 66 times before I got all the runes, other players completed that quest with less feeds.

Hmm, I didn't realise the Spring Fairy TAKES your Thank you cards when she tells you to help 5 Friends. Thanks for letting me know.

I went to craft a new Pet only to find my "Thankyou" Cards have disappeared. I've been helping 5 Friends a day as part of the Spring Fairys quest. When added to my previous Cards I should have a large collection. Help please.

Luckily I don't gamble in "real" life as I'm lucky to win once in every 20 throws of the dice in this game.

I agree. If the prices were more reasonable I think many people would be encouraged to spend real dollars as obviously a lot of work goes into developing these games. The $US converted to another countries currency makes the game too expensive.
