I searched the forum as best as I could for issue in the rock cave, but found nothing. I just encountered this same issue. I am stuck at the rock game, but no rocks so I cannot stack them, finish and move on. Too far into the game to want to start over.

I attempted to stack rocks about 15 times nearly reaching the top before the rocks tumbled. I decided to skip the puzzle at that point. I clicked skip and it changed back to the normal raven hint icon, but the mini game did not end. I was stuck stacking rocks still. However, when I returned to the main menu hoping that would take care of it and returned, I am at the same scene unable to continue, but now I have no rocks to stack. I am stuck. I am not replaying the game all over to get back to that point. Any one else encounter this?

Apparently I misspoke. You can never obtain more seeds by talking to Mkulima, although she indicates you can. You will need to buy the seeds for 3 pearls each at Muze's stall. I recommend the mattock that digs with one swing. You can plant the entire garden in no time flat.

At one stage you simply have to ask the lady (sorry don't have name) for more seeds. Later there will be a seed on the table (near the graden) for you to take. Later they are not available due to an event. I would guess they are available once the event is resolved.

Oh, by the way, welcome to the forums! I'm pretty new to them myself.

Another key, if I may use that term, is in being careful what "heros" you bring forward. If you bring forward a "gunner" (the lowest piece) that you have carried forward from level 1 and 2, it may start over in terms of upgrades, but it retains the levels already earned. This means that it can be upgraded as soon as the funds become available, whereas a newly purchased gunner has to earn the level by killing units before it can be upgraded, even if you have the funds.

Understand that difference and it will help you succeed.

You should bring forward the most advanced (leveled) unit that you can so that you have an advantage at the start of the next level. Beware though that if you bring forward more expensive units like the flamethrower it cost more to place them initally and you may not have the money to place all the peices you bring with you right off the bat.

Hope that helps!

Building only a bank and 2 cottages upgraded and with a garden, I was not able to achieve enough money letting the timer run completely out. I just passed that level so I have not been able to test this theory, but I was thinking that once the villa or some better house becomes available that then I could collect enough money to see what is in there.

Play "simon" with the piano. Make sure the crank is in the piano and obviously the piano is unlocked using the key under the floorboards.

I went to the sewing stores and bought all the patterns there and the medal triggered for me, but at that point I was at the highest friendship level with every one, so I do not know if one of the friends gave me patterns to complete the medal, or if it was just from buying the patterns, or if patterns were also buried? I think it is only food recipes that are buried, but there were so many I cannot recall clearly.

Gold                       15              194         162           T

NOTE: I am still working to confirm the minimum toughness
but because the items are random it takes a ton of digging
to be positive on the values.

Special items, such as Twigs or Sulfur are quest driven
and are not routinely found. If you obtain more of a special
item than the quest needs, they normally can only be sold
for 1 willowbee.

Wandering Willows Digging Table

Items are presented in order by toughness required to obtain them

Animal Crossings and it's sequels are close to this type of game, although they are for the Nintendo GameCube, Wii, GameBoy Advance or DS, and not for the PC.

Alice Greenfingers 1 and 2 are nice games if you like the gardening aspect of Wandering Willows.

This game is a great change of pace from the fllod of Hidden Object or Match-3 games!

There are graden "plots" if you will at both towns easily recognized by the dirt area inset by a smaller marked off area. You can only plant selected crops within the marked area. You can expand the marked area by buying additional plots (one square at a time) from the Cooking Store.

Flower beds do not exist, per se, you simply plant any seed packages you aquire in a free patch of grass. You cannot plant flower seeds in the garden area... which is a bit counter-intuitive. By the way, planted flowers eventually disappear if not harvested. I believe garden crops might also disappear if not harvested within a certain time period, but I'm not positive on that one.

Enjoy
