While we can offer a known solution for technical issues in the forums, or other tech savy pond residents can swim by with good tips and suggestions, we cannot provide the same excellent level of support provided by our Customer Support team. The forums are not very well suited for the kinds of information gathering and troubleshooting that get these types of issues corrected quickly. If there is a problem with the game, our Support Team can also gather necessary information on what types of computers are being affected by the problem and deliver this information to the developer for a fix.

While we have notified the developer of the game of the problem. We have found a workaround that should get you past the point where some folks are getting stuck. Fortunately, it's an easy fix in that all you need to do is create a new profile in the game and restart the game. Of course, this means you will have to start the game over from the beginning.

We hope to have a better fix in place soon and if you would like to help, please follow the information in bfgTigris's post. We apologize for the trouble and hope that this will be resolved soon.

We now have a new version of Youda Sushi Chef for the Mac available now. The new build resolves the game shortcut icon being hard to select from within the install container.

Reinstall a Mac game
1. Go to your Purchase History and click Install Now next to the game. The activation details needed to unlock your game will also be listed.
2. Double-click the downloaded .dmg file to open it. A game icon will appear in either an installation screen or a folder.
3. Drag the game icon to your Applications folder.
4. Double-click the game icon to open.
5. On the activation screen, enter your activation details: first name, last name, key.
6. Click Unlock full version.

This new version corrects the mouse clicking error that some people have been experiencing and reporting in this forum. This bug only effected PC’s, primarily laptops, and has to do with Vista/Video Chipset configuration.

The developer of the game has let us know that they are working on a permenent fix for this problem. In the meantime, they have posted a temporary solution in this thread:

We always listen to our customers, but like wine, good things take time.

Retroactive back to January 1st, all Collector's Edition purchases count as 3 punches on your Game Club Monthly Punch card!

You will not see this on your purchase updates until next week, but I have received a firm commitment from engineering that it will be done in the next week and they can make it apply retroactive to ALL Collector's editions purchased earlier in January. As before we will still count 100% off Bonus Credits and $2.99 daily deal purchases towards your punch card as well.
