I too will miss the friendly folks that have met & who have helped me out on the Forums over the past (eleven plus) years. Although I don't post that much, I've thoroughly enjoyed reading the informed opinions & sometimes very amusing comments of so many of you
It seems that Big Fish have decided once & for all, to cast us adrift & leave us to navigate the dried up pond ...such a great shame but I guess all the unwanted spam that's ended up on the Forums has finally sunk the ship, so thanks to all of you that have contributed to this outcome

It's been great knowing you all,
Over & out,

This game for me is a "Wow" in a good way from my point of view. I've been desperate for a decent one to play recently,so much so that I'm playing some very old games that I'd forgotten, & they've reminded me of how Collector's Editions used to be...long, complicated & with plenty of "meat" on their bones i.e. morphs, collectables & engrossing puzzles unlike those that we've been offered recently

I've never been a gambler, but here I am at a Casino ( that rings a bell ) & I'm playing, from what I've found out so far, games in order to save me from a fate worse than death. I found them fairly hard but thoroughly enjoyable although I did "die" a couple of times because I lost big time...but the dealer was kind enough to give me another chance

This is a game that can be played at a fairly fast pace if one wishes, but I enjoyed looking at the fine art work ( including the H.O. puzzles, which were interactive ) & searching for the hidden jokers in each scene...not sure what they'll offer in the end though. Oh & there is a little "helper" but he's not intrusive so no dreadful barking throughout!

To each his or her own, but I'm definitely going to purchase this because it's unusual. Jenny

I agree with you nanafraser, the developer's pretty good & I sort of liked the trial BUT the games nowadays are " much of a muchness "...I guess that the game builders are running out of ideas, so we're seeing the same themes being repeated over & over again sadly
In fact I'm now replaying those from years ago when I truly believe I was getting value for my money!
Happy gaming all the same

Hi JulieJay,
I think that the reviews you're seeing are from the players that were sent this game to test. They would have then filled in a survey which I guess is where these three reviews have appeared from.
The code worked for me too, here in France at 10:30 am.
Hi ganonsbane,

It was a "buy one get one free " offer BUT not for collectors editions if I remember correctly

The "stencil" item must be placed in the window ( top right ) & it will then cast a shadow which will allow you to move the square piece that you've put in the "maze " puzzle. Hope this helps

I for one, enjoy searching for the morphing objects in the H.O. scenes, as I think that, in the rush to find all the items in the quickest possible time, I've very often missed really beautiful graphics.
So, this game is, for the moment at least , giving me the best of both worlds, & I'm tempted...but I guess I'll hang on a while to see if I ( or anyone else ) run into a tech. problem
Running Win7 64 bits. & so far so good
Happy weekend folks
Hi Fishies
I beta tested this game quite a while ago & listed it as one of the few that was a "no brainer" buy for me.
I play on W7 64bits p.c. & had no tech. problems at all
Given the fact that there was a HUGE sale yesterday, I haven't hesitated in buying & I can't wait to start playing as soon as the download is complete.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did, happy gaming folks,

Add me to the ( growing??? ) list of players that can't remove the first sock in the bedroom H.O. scene.
I can't believe there's a glitch so early in this game!
I'm using Windows 7 pro 64 bits.

Good luck to all of you that manage to get past this, & to those that bought before trialing it because they enjoy the "Surface" series, I hope you don't run into this problem.

Like jaylake, I finally understood that the item shown must be placed with its pair in the now the game is playing perfectly...SORRY for the moan folks.

Hi usagi_mas

I hope that you've managed to assemble the wheel by now, but just in case you haven't you don't need a special tool. All you need to do is pick up the large spokes & hover over the place where they fit & they'll "pop" into place.

Happy gaming,

Hi Murphy 1018

In second scene of the game I have scissors but have nowhere to use them.
Click on diary or map and neither are available. Can't go back as cursor won't change
to let me do it. In other words nothing is working.
Windows 10 64 bit home edition

If you've managed to get the mailbox key, there's a letter in there & the scissors are used to open it...strangely!!

Hope this helps,

Hi Rainworm,
Oh yes, you're so right. This game is such a breath of fresh air I bought it after about ten minutes of the trial. I know that it's probably going to drive me insane from time to time...but I couldn't resist the challenge of using my own powers of reasoning, instead of having my hand held all the time!

Hi gnewburn,

I saw the nutcracker when I played before buying, but now he has one arm missing & that's the arm that is used to crack the nut... so I'm in the same predicament as you
An offering from a developer that I thought was "different" & rather appealing BUT once again I find myself with an unplayable game & not for the first time recently!!

Hope you have better luck than me my friend,

Having returned to the game, his arm has magically reappeared & I was able to crack the nut so maybe this will help you?

Thanks for the reminder

It's 13:15 hrs. here in France & the code HUGE is still working & as I really wanted this game, I jumped at the reduction. The games just recently have left me pretty cold but this one seems to have all the bells & whistles ( & no glitches....although I can only speak for the trial so fingers crossed )

Happy gaming folks,
