I wonder if anyone has contacted Customer Service about the problem? Can't be fixed until they know it's broke.
I do want to remind members that for 99% of the games, Big Fish is a distributor, not a developer, so they aren't responsible for the oar not being there but they will take ownership of the problem and contact the developer for a remedy. |

I think this is one of the first large file games I've purchased. No, I take that back, there was another(NiBiRu) that I didn't finish cuz it was too back and forth and nothing accomplished.
Gameboomers gave Chronicles of Mystery etc. a decent review and they said it was a good game for people starting out with adventure(large file) games. Way I figure it, iHOGs are becoming more like LFGs anyway so why not take the plunge. It's a huge game, over 1G. Expect a slow download time if there are a lot of folks demoing the game. I hope I"m not too disappointed. |

Quoting walkthrough:
Not all the holes are easy to see so this might be the problem with placement. When you're looking for a place to drop the wire, watch your pointer. When it changes to the gears icon, that is the place to let go of them. Hope that helps. |

Do you have all the necessary parts? What have you done so far? Did you click on the guard station? Did the gears go in? Did you install the battery and gas tank? Did you refer to the walk through yet? http://www.bigfishgames.com/blog/escape-the-museum-2-walkthough/#28 |

I don't know of any fuse box in the game and there are at least 3 bridges. Are you referring to the fuse that you need in the car? If so, then just drop it on the wires showing below the steering wheel.
Have you checked the walkthrough? http://www.bigfishgames.com/blog/escape-the-museum-2-walkthough/#12 Welcome to Big Fish! |

I don't know if it will help but whenever I had a problem finding the right place to attach, stick or hit something in this game, I moved my mouse around until the pointer changed to the gears icon. If it was the question mark, I knew something needed to be done but not with the object I had grabbed. No change to the pointer meant I needed to continue looking.

I clicked and clicked on the phone's cord until I was blue in the face ... then I decided to use the hint(duh me) and it wasn't the cord
Spoiler: (hold the left click button and mouse over to read) between the receiver and the machine, it is the cord running along the wall to the corner where you click to get the soap. Use the scissors on the cord there and you'll get your item. |

For games like this I google to find and read reviews. Also, YouTube may have more video available.

IMO, there's lots of replay value because the items are not always in the same place as the time before. That alone makes it an interesting and 'value' game.

Ya, QL, I don't get the complaint about battles. It's just finding HOGs at a faster rate. No blood shed, no weapons, no blows landed, nada.

And how many hours of game play does that equal? TM/M3 games last longer than iHOGs and even most LFGs so whose getting more bang for their buck?
Most iHOGs are replayable but not to the same extent the other genres so us iHOG lovers need more of them to fill the hours we have available to play. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it.

Anyone else have this problem? I haven't gotten very far into the game, just past the waterfall but this has happened in at least 2 battles.
Don't remember the categories but it's the one in the middle, called Weakness. I get all the items on the list but it tells me I still have one more to find. I also noticed that the other lists are a little low on the screen but the background is aligned correctly. So, do I need to adjust my graphics, and if so, to what? |

Did you get the cannonball from the bird?

Also because it is a trilogy based in Egypt. It would be kind of strange if the last one was in South America.

lala, if you look up on the screen, you will see a tab that says "All Games Forums" click on it and find your game's forum. That's the best place to get help and find out if there is a walkthrough available.

Auntann11, you might want to try uninstalling the Big Fish client and then retry to download the game. If that doesn't help, contact Customer Support. They're great at getting to the heart of the problem.
I don't know what operating system you have so I can only suggest going to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel to remove it. I don't know if Vista has that option or equivalent. |

I still go back and replay the first two of the series quite often so this was a no-brainer for me. Took me from about 2:30AM to 10:30AM to complete without many breaks and I'm an experience HOGer so your mileage may differ.
The game play is different from the previous 2 in that there are fewer Spot the Difference scenes, the objects are more interactive, rather than just replacing a spot on the screen, the object actually causes an action. Also, I didn't find the objects/differences as difficult to find as they were in the two prior versions. Hints are plentiful. I ended up with over 50 at the end but I had used some because I was getting too tired. LOL Anubis is still poking his head from the side of the screen but this time he stays long enough for you to click on him which is a big help. The underwater scene returns but no burning buildings to contend with. I hated that librarian in the last one with a passion. I'd give it a definite 4 fins out of 5. - MO |

Looks like a RTR wannabe from the screen caps I saw.

That's pretty standard for casual games. I usually use specific names when I play; i.e. beta, demo, first, second, third.... etc. It's just a way for me to keep tally on how often I've played the games.
