Late to the game, but I had Vista slowness troubles on another game, and tech support could not find a problem - however, I have since discovered that if I have Windows Media Player running (muted) the game works just fine! Try it.

Possible hope, if anybody stumbles in here - I've been experimenting, and it seems like the game runs smoothly as long as Windows Media Player is going. Odd, but true, so far. I've found perhaps relevant info here:

I can't seem to find a solution, unfortunately. I've had tech support try various things to no avail. The one thing I have noticed is that I can get it to play without jerky graphics immediately after playing a downloaded trial version of another Big Fish game, but now it's gone erratic again.

Has anyone managed to play this game successfully on Vista?
