I understand that there is a new android version available for ipad and iphone, but I see nothing for the Kindle edition, and when I tried to play the game yesterday, none of the courses will load at all. Are you going to release a Kindle update, and if so, when?

This is a game I hated to see end. I enjoyed it tremendously. Loved not having to endlessly battle boring enemies just to level up. Loved the storyline. Loved the graphics. This is how an RPG *should* be made.

Thanks for all the help everyone. I found that using Claret's EMP attack works great! I finally took down that bot after thinking I never would!

This game didn't make a lick of sense to me. I didn't even make it to the end of the demo before I exited out and deleted it. Definitely not even worth $2.99 on the DD in my opinion.

I don't usually review games because others do it so much better, but I'm so fried about this game I just have to
I played the first MCF game ages ago, and fell in love the Ravenhearst. In fact, that's the reason I joined BFG. I enjoyed each new addition to the series through Dire Grove. Then came 13th Skull, which I thought was a let down after DG. I didn't even buy Escape from Ravenhearst until recently when I decided to replay the Ravenhearst series, and I haven't finished it yet because of lack of interest.
That should have been my clue not to bother with any further entries into the series, but I went ahead and purchased this when the SE came out. I thought the 60 minute demo was interesting enough to spend a credit. What a waste of a credit! This game is so repetitious and just plain dull, that I just bulled my way through to get it over with so I could delete it from my computer. The rolling jigsaw between scenes was so annoying that for the first time ever, I didn't even bother attempting to solve the puzzle after the first two. I just let the skip button fill and skipped it altogether. Oh, if only I could have done that with some of the lame, overacted cut scenes, too.
In my opinion, BFG laid a giant goose egg with this loser. And believe me, I'll never waste my money on another in this series.

I'm on the fence about this one. I liked it and played the entire demo, but I don't think I like it enough to buy as a CE. I don't mind the storyline, in fact I love murder mysteries/ghost stories, so that was fine with me. I did find myself kind of missing the hidden object scenes, but not enough to make me say 'no' to the game.
All-in-all, I'll probably buy the game, but I think I'll wait until it comes out in the SE. Unless, that is, I find out that the extra play is worth a second credit.

I really enjoyed this game a lot! I didn't much care for the first Vampire Saga game, and in fact, I haven't even finished it though I've had it for ages. Because of that, I didn't even demo the second game, but decided to go ahead and demo this game out of curiosity. I'm glad I did because I've just spent many enjoyable hours off and on today playing this game. The storyline was one I enjoy - I'm a big fan of the spooky storylines - and the gameplay itself was fun. The hint function was very good and filled up almost instantaneously.
And because I enjoyed this game so much, I went ahead and downloaded the demo of the second game and ended up purchasing it too with one of the free coupons I got from last weekend's sale.
I thought the game was well worth the purchase and time spent on it.

I think this is a quite lovely game with beautiful graphics and a quiet, gentle storyline. Perfect for someone looking for something to play with kids or for someone who just wants to relax. It feels very slow paced to me, and not necessarily in a bad way.
However, this game isn't for me. It's too gentle and fairly repetitious. Collect items on list, use tools collected to gather crystals, collect all the needed crystals and move on to the next scene. Lather, rinse, repeat.
So while I can recommend it as a very nice and pretty game, it's a 'no buy' for me.

I didn't demo the CE so I've been enjoying the SE demo. As others have said, nice graphics and nicely spooky atmosphere (though not too spooky for me. I have a high spooky threshold. LOL) I did get a little annoyed with the "my husband taught me to drive" comment at the beginning of the game. What's the time frame for this game, the 1950s? Aside from that, this looks to be a definite buy for me.

I agree that this was a great game. And I also agree that it should be clearly labeled PART ONE so that players aren't surprised, disappointed or angry when they game ends with only half the quests given.
Quite frankly, I would have waited to purchase this game until Part 2 was available.

I wanted to like this game because I love the spooky format, but unfortunately, I didn't care for either the 360 view or the clunky frame-by-frame view, and the game didn't save even when I tried to do so. Too bad it's such a poorly designed game because an English house mystery would have been right up my alley.

As I loved Briar Rose, this game is a definite buy for me, even as a CE which I seldom buy. Unfortunately, I have to wait until Tuesday so that I can take advantage of the 3 game credits for my punch card.
The graphics are indeed very beautiful, and I'm looking forward to really getting into the story. Why oh why did wait until near the end of the month after a big sale before releasing this. I hate waiting!

This game rocked! I loved the story line and the atmosphere. This game is right up there with Return to Ravenhurst, Dire Grove and Dark Parables: The Curse of Briar Rose as a game I hated to see end. I hope there's a sequel in the future.

Bought it with the President's Day sale, and wish I'd bought something else. Not the worst game ever, but for all that it had a vampire theme it was pretty dull. Junk pile scenes were pretty junky so I ended up using more hints than I usually do. If there is a sequel to this game, I won't be buying.

Some games, right off the bat, have a certain energy about them. They grab your interest and keep you excited the whole time. Not this one. Deadly dull. I only played a few scenes before I knew that I had no interest in this game. As for the sound effects, I turned down my speakers about halfway through the first scene because the repetition became far too tedious to listen to after more than a couple of minutes.
This is a definite 'no buy, straight into the trash bin' for me.

Wow, am I glad I came here first before I even attempted to download and try the game. Bad game + sneaky installs = not interested! Thanks for the warnings, fishies!

I'm kind of disappointed since I bought this on a DD just a few weeks ago, and now here it is again. Oh, well, maybe if is going to just start recycling previous DDs I can pick up one or two I missed in the past.

Ah, good to know. I was going to retry from the beginning again, but now I know not to bother. Still, even with losing all my goods and skills, I'm loving this game, and I've barely started!
