Lol I did the same thing. Yep yep it runs great. Turned off the demo and bought it. This was one of my very favorite t.v. shows and Legacy Interactive did this game proud. Kudos to them. Well off to play lol.

I thought this was a game. I bought it from the Alawar site sorry . I truly loved the game.

The length of the game took me from early morning to late that night/early morning the next day.

Some of the puzzles were really a challenge and I had to use Gamezebo's walkthrough. Without a walkthrough I wouldn't have been able to complete them. Crystal puzzle comes to mind. Another one quite a few people had problems with is painting the stone grate puzzle where you have to visit a tomb in the past. You will see a grate over the puzzle and wonder how to get it off. Stay zoomed in on that and go to the present and put the paint in the holes. You can skip the puzzles from what I remembered but I rather do them.

The story was really good and this is one of the games to me if you don't read the story, you lose a good part of the game and what's going on.

You will be switching rooms quite a bit. To be able to complete one room, you have to complete another first and you will be switching from the present to the past quite a bit, because you have to do things in the past to complete the present.

The graphics were awesome and the music fit just right. This is one solid HOG and I would give it a 10/10.

I bought the game from the Alawar site directly and started the game early morning and finished late that night or real early the next morning. It took about a day for me to complete.

I thought that was really cool how they did that. The clock on the wall in the room I am in now is exactly one hr behind my time. They thought of everything in this one.

Great review as usual Gogii told me about this game a year ago and said it was in the works. I loved the other one so much and was waiting. That part about holding down the mouse does sound like a pain. The other parts you mentioned about the game sound great. I will give it a try anyways, and just do mouse finger exercises for that holding down the mouse part. Thanks Squirrely! God bless

I am really enjoying this one. The battle aren't bad at all once you get used to them. In fact I like them. I bought the game. I really love the story too. I got to find out what happened to Lily. And from my understanding they have quite a few mini games. I love the way they put the hidden object scenes. In my book this game is definitely a 10/10.

Put the seeds in the bowl and give them to the bird. He reveals the 11th feather and thus your hint light comes back on.

I didn't think to look at a walkthrough with this game and wondered why the hint medallion went gray. Before the hint system will relight again, you have to do a certain task. For example when you get to this hut it tells you to find 11 feathers, so many seeds, a bowl, and a stick looking thing. The hint will stay lit until you find all the objects except for the 11th feather. For you to get it turned on again you have to combine the seeds with the bowl and give it to the bird who then reveals the 11th feather and the hint button comes back on. Also when you hit the hint medallion, you will see an object glowing on the screen. If you don't quite see it, the medallion will start spinning faster the closer you get to the object. Also in this game you don't need everything in your inventory all at once to start completing your tasks. Meaning, find an inventory item put it on the scene where it belongs, or you can wait till you have them all then do it. Other than that this game plays like any other IHOG. Have fun.

This game was awesome and me too loving every minute of it. So much to do and I read on Gamezebo that a couple of the people were actually from the show. This game was well done in every aspect.

The game play took me a little over 2 days. I didn't have a walkthrough. One of the puzzles Prpldva was pertaining to not to miss the dialog was the one where you had to put the pictures on the grid in a certain order. I read the whole story and still skipped that puzzle. There are 2 slider puzzles in the game I skipped as well. The graphics do get better as the time progresses. It can also depend on your monitor with the graphics. I didn't have a problem because I have a 17 inch flat screen high def monitor. I tried it on my laptop, forget it no go. The story as a whole does get really interesting. As the game progresses the dialog does tone down quite a bit. You will be using objects quite a bit from room to room. I loved the fact where you could walk from room to room just to change the scenery if anything. In one part of the game you will have to go to 3 different rooms to find all the hidden objects. But a dialog box will come up telling you the objects are in this room. This games hint system is one of the best I have seen by far. When I found myself lost on what to do next, I hit the hint button and a dialog box came up with a small picture on it showing where you should go and what to click on. I loved this game and not sorry in the least I bought it. It is a very fun HOG in my opinion.

Lol Nellie. She probably thought she might need it for a masquerade party.

LOL- You are not alone. Hubby thought I was nuts when I kept insisting!

Who's Bella?

Anyways the mannequin we had to dress up reminded me of Lurch from the Adams Family.

I would like to add something to my post. Please then DO NOT play the Silent Hill series. Killing zombie nurses in the hospital, werewolves on the outside. That one I had to quit. That one I had to wear a seat belt for jumping out of the darn chair so much. Gruesome! Heart failure a 100 times over on that one. Seeing the screenshots from this game kind of remind me of it.

Like others said, Big Fish would not put out games to offend people and/or to hurt people and neither would Gogii games. Gogii games is a very large game company who also makes games for the home consoles such as the WII and Playstation. They only put this game out to have some Halloween fun and so did Big Fish. I guess you don't like Halloween either because people dress up in gory outfits. If you don't like the game like others said then don't play it. Big Fish is a huge game company and I am sure they know what games to put out and what not to put out. Telling them they should be ashamed for putting this out is wrong on your part. They don't need people coming on here and telling them "They should be ashamed"! Ashamed of what? Having a little bit of Halloween fun? Geez Tinor lighten up. When I saw at the very beginning it was Gogii Games, I didn't even bother with the hour demo. I bought it straight up cause I know I am getting an excellent game.

This may be from a real town and story but there is only two mini games throughout the whole game which is doing the tombstone puzzles to get a key to go to the next location and spot the differences. I bought this game from another site too and sorry I did. The items are too hard to see, the hints at the latter part of the game were going up to 4 to six minutes to recharge real time not game time so you sit there and stare at the screen for an object you know you can't find. I give this one star for the story and that's it. There are other good HOGs out there. One, "Alabama Smith in the Quest of Fate", "Alexandra Fortune Mystery of the Lunar Archipelago". Both put out by Alawar and are adventure HOGs like yesterday's Hidden Expedition game. Those are 2 adventure hogs that I will spend full price on. The other is "The Tudors" based on the t.v. series put out by Showtime. This to me turned out to be a junkpile HOG and after 3/4's of the way done deleted it. Yesterday's Hidden Expedition game which by the way was a five star game kind of spoiled me. That was one awesome game. Take care.

When the submarine was submerging at the beginning of the game, I'm almost certain he was looking in the left portal. I could be wrong.

"Alabama Smith in The Quest of Fate" and "Alexandra Fortune Mystery of the Lunar Archipelago". Little exerpts of each game from Gamezebo.

Alabama Smith in the The Quest of Fate:

"Unlike some HOGs with adventure game-like puzzles, Quest of Fate focuses on the inventory mechanic heavily -- especially plucking items from the screen to use them somehow, such as a key on a lock, a knife on a hanging carpet, a fire on some dry grass or pushing pieces of stone into a crevice. This emphasis on object combining separates it from other HOGs in this space. Adding another layer of strategy is swapping between two different time periods at the click of a mouse: modern-day Macchu Picchu and an ancient Incan civilization. Not unlike the '90s adventure game Day of the Tentacle (a classic from Tim Schafer), you'll often have to use objects from the past to solve puzzles in the present. The player will also take control over other characters throughout the course of this story -- and depending on your success in the game, you'll see one of two unique endings."

Alexandra Fortune Mystery of the Lunar Archipelago

Same as above game. Hidden Object/adventure. Objects interact with the scene.

Hi 88

The right mouse button is only used for telling you about the items to buy. You have to click on the back button with the left mouse button in order to get back to the hidden object scene. You could have a glitch in your game I don't know. My game is working fine. Try the good old uninstall and reinstall. I am on the second part of the game and no problems. I don't know what else to tell you.
