Hi - I'm stuck on bonus level 23.
Have cleared all coins but the one above the magnet, but cannon is blocked from it by barrier that I can't clear. Please help - I love all these games but this one has got me! |

Today's update on my problem
![]() Successfully downloaded using Chrome, and installed - great. Then when I clicked Play, Bitdefender did its disinfecting bit again and IE lost its homepage again, even though I wasn't using it. Definitely something odd with this game! Great shame as I've loved all the previous games in this series... |

I'm using Windows 7 and IE 11. This problem occurs during installation, I don't get as far as actually running the game. IE will not reinstate my home page until I reboot my PC, which is a desktop by the way. I've successfully installed and played all the previous Fantasy Mosaic series without a problem.
I have been with BFG for several years and never seen a problem like this before, so I'm loathe to blame IE, even though it can be flaky sometimes. My other browser is Chrome, but I can't try it as I believe Games Manager can't use it anyway, unless that has changed recently. |

Further to my last post - I managed to install it on the 3rd attempt but when I tried to run the game, Bitdefender objected and has 'disinfected' it. At the same time my IE has lost its home page.
I know these 2 things seem unrelated, but I have repeated the process and exactly the same thing has happened. I have always trusted BFG to be virus free, but there is definitely something dodgy about this game. |

Hi, I'm getting error 769 on installing this game. I am running as administrator, and other games install fine, so I think there's a problem here. Please help.

I can't run this SE version either, the display is not quite right and I get a runtime error from MS Visual C++ runtime library which terminates the program at the end of the audio intro.
My PC is up to date on all MS updates, DirectX and video card updates. |

I have the latest DIrectX and video card drivers, have reinstalled the game and have switched off MS Security Essentials, as per BFG help information on this, but I still get the Access violation error message when I try to start this game.
Does anyone have this problem or any other suggestions on how to get around the problem? Thanks Annette |

I have the same error message when I run the game. It then gets stuck and needs task manager to end it forcibly.

No, sorry, I meant time & money spent buying and playing the games, thank goodness they're so reasonably priced, as I can't resist! |

cesse47, thanks for the welcome. Interestingly I have just updated both my video driver and DirectX version to solve another display problem with one of the Drawn scenes, but sadly it didn't help the slowness of the reloads!
actorres86, if I find an answer to our problem, I'll try to post it for you. Finally, I must just sing the praises of the ![]() Trouble is, I spend far too much time and money with them - neither of which I have enough of!! ![]() ![]() |

Firstly, it was a great game, superb quality graphics etc. as we've come to expect from BFG, but I agree that the reloading of scenes every time was getting on my nerves, especially in my case, as it just got slower and slower until towards the end it nearly ground to a halt completely..
I know this isn't the place for tech speak but I must just ask - has anyone else suffered from this problem? Also, the game took quite a while to clear when you quit it. I think it was swallowing up virtual memory. My PC is not new but it has run every other game perfectly well. RTR managed to run around back and forth without so much trouble, and I think it was just as complicated. |

I try to be constructive with my comments, but this time I give in. This game is seriously bad! The English is terrible, hidden objects are often too small/indistinct to identify from the sometimes dubious descriptions, as are the differences in the 2 pictures, and the format of the game is so boring.
Definitely not up to BFG's usual high standards ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Absolutely brilliant - loved everything about it - got to be the best HO game ever produced. Quality was superb, such attention to detail especially the effects, like travelling in the cable car for instance. It was very difficult in places, and made you think hard, but that made it even more enjoyable. Not too much story to read, lots of variations to keep your attention - I didn't want it to end! Only down side was hint replenishment time, but it made you work twice as hard to avoid using a hint.
Hope this isn't the last - can't wait for more - well done all at BFG ![]() |
