Going to purchase this game, but I noticed technical issues with certain computers, in this case Mac and W 8.1; neither of which I use. I am worried about what's going to happen when Windows 10 is released in less than a week. A lot of people have already signed up to get it for free, but my big concern is that my old games or the new ones that come out once it's released, won't be compatible. I hope BF is ready for an influx of new problems once W10 is released. I am a hardcore gamer, with BF games being my 'relaxing' game site; for times when I just don't feel like entering another battle, building another fort, shooting another terrorist, etc. Someone called this game one for guys. Well, I'm no guy, but play games like Assassin's Creed, and am in my 50s!

I did the Beta of this game and could barely stick through to the end.

Your sister, Sophia is alive, but doesn't have much time left. She lives with oracles called Oracles of Doom. When you finally find her she zaps you and that's the end of the beta test.

There are 3 modes of play: normal, hard and detective.

There are 25 oracle emblems to find and 10 pages of Sophia's diary. There is no map and I ran across regular HO's and silhouettes. HO's can be skipped.

I found the game to be tedious and actually got sleepy while I was playing. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 3 (at most).

I contacted CS to see if they could help. I mentioned this forum and how so many were having the same problem as me: not being able to find the last sourvenir. This is what I was told: I went ahead and took a look at the forum below:

"Phantasmat: The Endless Night Collector's Edition Forum

I was however not able to find this question, It might be helpful to ask on the forums in case others have found a solution."

How funny that CS came to this very forum and didn't see the word 'souvenirs'. Yeah, they looked really hard, lol.

So, I was told to come back here to see if anyone found a solution and was given a code for a free CE in case they didn't. Is this how it's going to be from now on? No help, only codes for another game that's probably going to be glitchy, too? I certainly hope not, but this is twice I've had a problem recently and both times I was given a free game code instead of the issue being address. We want games that work the way they're supposed to, not free games to replace the ones that don't. Just saying.

I was supposed to make a telekenesis potion and then something else from that, the second of which used liquid gold and a spider web. Well, I set the liquid gold on the 'tray' and then realized it was supposed to go with the second potion, not the first, so I tried to pick it up and you just can't pick up something once you've put it on the 'tray' to make a potion and I had to have the other potion to get the spider web to make the potion with the gold, so I just put all of the ingredients for the first potion on the 'tray' and guess what? It won't work. It keeps telling me that I need to get the spider web which I can't get without the first potion. So, just a heads up when it comes to potions: MAKE SURE YOU PLACE THE RIGHT INGREDIENTS ON THE TRAY OR YOU WILL HAVE TO START THIS GAME ALL OVER AGAIN. There are other glitches as well. Good thing it only cost me a 1.99!

I cannot finish level 92. To refresh your memory, the level has 2 bombs, set at 15 seconds, which are below several layers of 'sand'. I have tried and tired, but cannot even come close to getting anything to work in being able to pop them before they blow up. I've searched the internet to no avail for answers. If anyone can help, please do so! THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Has anyone noticed that a lot of the games won't play with Windows 8.1? I wonder what's going to happen once the new windows comes out early next year, which I'm waiting on to buy a new computer. I seldom have trouble with games on Widows 7 Professional and dread what will happen with the new windows; especially since so many have problems with games on W8.

Did the beta on this game a while back and I have mixed feelings about it. There have been detailed reviews about this already, so I'll just write down the things I noted as I did the beta. The voice-overs were okay, nothing exceptional. The background music was jazz and I loved it! There are 5 settings to choose from, one of which is CUSTOM. I had no problems or glitches with the part I played. The hub of the game is set at the Jazz Pepper Club in New Orleans, LA. My final comment was this: BORING. TOO MUCH TALK.

I am glad that some of you find this game so wonderful. That's what the developers and BF aim for. Guess I'm in the minority here, but that's fine. There are times I buy games that a lot of people don't like. ENJOY YOUR GAME

I wasn't sure I wanted to purchase this game after reading a lot of negative comments, so I did the trial version first, just to make sure it was enough like the first 3 for me to want to buy it. It only took 5 levels of chapter 1 to know that I had to stop and purchase right away and have been playing off and on since!

The first chapter of this series of games has always been rather 'slow', but once you move on to chapter 2, things get a little tougher, even though I have completed all the levels with gold stars. I'm sure by chapter 3, I'll have to replay some of the levels, which is a good thing! Love a little challenge.

Some people said the paths were hard to see, but I'm not having that problem and I have really horrible eyesight. Yes, it takes more than one trip to pick up things now, but once you have more than 1 worker, it goes quickly and is quite fun to click on the items more than once, especially when you 'speed up' your workers. Sometimes they run faster than I can click in that mode, lol.

This game is basically the same kind of gameplay as the first three, excepting with this one the area seems more compact, for lack of another word. You expand houses, mines, etc., as before, but this one always has an object, forgot the name, that kills the flying dragon things you see in some levels. You can also click them with your pointer to destroy them, which is also fun for me. Love killing those monsters!

This game is definitely not for everyone; but anyone who has played the first three games in the series should at least give it a try and not let the comments by others stop you from doing so.

I seldom write reviews because I basically stink at it and might have a game a week or two before I get around to playing it. I remember beta testing the game quite a while back and liked it then, so it was nice to see it for sale. The puzzles are quite good, but not too difficult and the HO's are okay, junk pile. I loved the thought of being 'stuck in a game' where you are the main player, trying to save not only yourself but others as well. And, the guy who sent you there in the first place didn't make it any easier and I was especially pleased that the game didn't abruptly end once you 'get back' to 'reality'. Waiting for a sequel - if there will be one. Oh, and you find this cute little rabbit-looking furry animal that helps you out. Thankfully, you didn't have to collect stuff to remodel his house or buy him clothes (hate that!). You even get to name him and his name shows when you hover the mouse over him in the inventory box. I wouldn't have bought the CE, getting tired of getting nothing but the same old stuff for twice the price, but as a SE it more than passes the test for me.

Well, it's going on 2 weeks now and still no repair for this game! So, today, I decided to look at a few games that I wanted but that MANY people reported glitches with and guess what? Yep. Those games still have no updates either. What the heck is going on with Big Fish? And why are they still selling these games to their customers?! This is bordering on ridiculous. I said I would stay with BF, but I'm beginning to wonder if it's such a good idea after all. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN BF AND THE DEVELOPERS AS WELL!

I've been a member for years, and this is the first time I've seen a 'fix' take so long, provided there ever is a fix. (Remember Imperial Island?) I was totally surprised when I read this game is STILL available for purchase, even with BF knowing there is no fix for it and the player cannot finish the game. Seems that more and more all they care about are the games that make them the most money: BF Casino, Dark Manor, etc. I will keep my membership, but will not buy another game unless I KNOW there are no glitches for the majority of the players, knowing there are always problems for those who need to update this or that. THE LEAST BIG FISH COULD HAVE DONE WOULD HAVE BEEN TO REMOVE THE SE VERSION OF THE GAME UNTIL THE FIX WAS PROVIDED, but again, I've been waiting since December 27, for a fix. OH WELL. GUESS I'LL KEEP WAITING: LIKE I HAVE A CHOICE!

SEVEN DAYS! REALLY?! It should be very obvious to all of us by now that the developers care squat about it's players! Big Fish, at this point, should just allow everyone to have the CE version and charge the developers since it's very obvious fixing this glitch is not a priority! SHAME ON YOU!

Well, the first technical problem with the gems and mirror was reported on Dec. 27! Here it is, January 1, and still no fix. At this point, BF should remove the game, period, until a fix is available and give those of us who have waited all this time the CE version to replace this one, as the CE version obviously does not have the glitch. More and more games have problems and fixes are few and far between. I personally have 2 games I'd like to buy, but put a 'wait for fix' note next to them and no fixes were ever posted. I will continue to wait for this fix, however, as I was thoroughly enjoying the game. I would like to finish this year, lol.

What the heck?! Still no fix for this game when it's very obvious that EVERYONE who bought it is having the same problem? I know what BF will say: it was the weekend. We're working on it. Well, work a little harder. We paid for our games DAYS AGO and if you were a brick and mortar store most people would have already gotten a refund of their money for a substandard product!

Game was playing beautifully until I, too, reached the mirror with the three gems. When I inserted the last gem the game froze, no access violation message. Tried it a second time to no avail. And, since others are reinstalling and getting the same problem, I'm not going to bother reinstalling unless a fix is made available. Running game on W7 Professional with GFORCE. I HATE GLITCHES!

Who knows whether or not to even try a BF game any more? Obviously, a lot of games don't have glitches until AFTER they are purchased. All you get from BF is 'contact customer service' which takes days at best and then could take weeks to fix the problem, if at all. My last experience with them lasted over a week and they still couldn't fix the problem. The new Agency of Anomalies had a lot of problems and so I waited for a fix - and am still waiting. I absolutely refuse to buy games that are full of glitches even if it means losing some of the free game codes I have. It's getting worse by the day, as badly as I hate to say that. Yes, SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES, in the form of glitch-filled games!

That happened to me once a long time ago and it turned out my video card wasn't 'good enough' to play the game. It could be that you just need to update your video or graphics card as well. You can open your device manager on the computer and use that to check for updates. Hope you are able to solve your problem.

This is the SE version of a recent CE game. Maybe you played it when it first came out and that's the reason your trial has expired? Just a suggestion as to the reason.

It figures that there would be such a fantastic sale when most people can't even get the game to play because of 'server maintenance'. FIGURES! What a rip.

I, too, have been getting the server maintenance message all day, even after updating the game. I think we should have been told about this, as we were on Oct. 1. I get tired of going to the game, getting the same message, and then having to bring up the task manager to get out of the game.
