Agreed, it is tough. I have played all four of the Aveyond games now, and this one is by far the hardest, at least in the beginning stages.

I found the wolves on the Northern island were the best for leveling up. You can run into and out of the town and stay at the inn to rejuvenate.

And once you have got up to a certain level, you can go back to the Academy and learn better spells for Rhen and Lars. Assuming you left some empty slots in their schedules.

I did it the old-fashioned way, no goodies at all! There is a bronze sword in a chest on Mt. Orion that helps a *lot*.

If you join the Adventurer's Guild at the inn in Wildwoods and bring back a dead vampire, you get access to better armor, ect. from the innkeeper.

I have just restored the soul orb of the Druid of Time and am ready to go back to the Sun Temple and prepare for the final battle, but I seem to have a few unfinished quests in my Journal that I can't figure out:

Who is Tiny and where can I find him?

Where can I find the boar/Levus?

Where can I find a ghost to take to the vampire in Ghed'adre?

How do I uncurse the city of Eljindro?

Where do I find a goose?

I have the kettle, but I can't remember what city the alchemist is in???

I've been everywhere and I can't figure these things out! Help?

And apparently you can marry him to Ava if you do certain things right.

I was on the Amaranthia site today and it is now showing a date of December for the Lost Orb chapter instead of November. Can anyone confirm? I'm going through withdrawal already.

I can't wait for the next chapter! never thought I would be looking forward to November, my least favourite month!

To fill the time until then I am going to get the first two Aveyond games....I know they are standalones so it doesn't matter what order I play them in, but which do you all think is the best one that I should play first?

Stella doesn't have to die in the end. Look for my post in this forum titled "How to save Stella" if you want to find out how to save her.

Try some of Lydia's spells. The best ones for these are Siren, Pooka, Banshee, and Starlight. Also use Teijal's paralyze skill, and equip everyone you can with anti-sleep amulets (I think you can buy those in the fairie town).

It took me a while to find him, too! He is a green dragon inside one of the unmarked houses in the top part of the village. Keep looking!

Stella doesn't have to die at the end of GoN, and this is how you can save her. Don't read if you don't want to know!

This is what worked for me, anyway:
--give your attraction points to Stella and have Edward propose to her at Pemberley Keep. She accepts!
--sometime later in the game go back to Pemberley Keep, make Edward the party leader and have him talk to her again.
--Stella gives Edward the Feather of Eternity
--after the battle with Gyendal, Stella is dead. Oh no!
--Edward will remember the Feather she gave him. Ta da! Stella lives and goes on to marry Edward. True love prevails!

If you were smart and kept your initial game in your save menu, you can just load that to start again.

If like me, you saved over your older games, you have the option of starting a new game, but you won't have any of the stuff you got in LoT except your apartment key.

BUT you can get around that if you still have Lord of Twilight on your computer. Open up LoT and load your Endgame from the save menu. The game will prompt you to save the game into the Gates of Night menu. Then when you reopen GoN, you should be able to open that game and have all the items and level experience you had before.

My last quest to complete before I enter the Underworld is to give a sapphire to Hakkar. I have the stone, but I can't remember where he lives! Is he a dragon?

OK, I will try to help.

What "stuff" did you do with the fairies? You need to restore the Fairy Queen and she will give you the quarter key. If you fought Medusa, you should have found the magic mushroom in her cave. You need to give that to the fairie children and then follow them into another part of Whisper Woods where you can find the fairy dust. Give that to the sad frog and follow her back to her cave in the fairy village.

Also, you can check your inventory to see for sure if you have the quarter key from the Orcs. Maybe the door only accepts them in a certain order? I'm not sure.

If you have any eggs to be hatched or picked up, I would make a quick stop at Moo hatchery.

Then head south and east and land at Phyree beach. There are two things you can do here without fighting any beasts:
--after you leave your boat, follow the beach straight north. You will find a spot where you can acquire the treasure key to open blue chests.
--then, back at the boat, take the trail on the bottom of the screen that leads straight west. That should take you directly into town where you can stock up on items. Talk to everyone you meet, and remember that as Professor Gray's pupil you can learn a new skill in every town.

The land of the orcs is on the far north and east of the world map, but you will need to go somewhere else to learn Orc before you can do anything there.

You can get a Weevil Scroll in Ghed'Are (sp?). Also a Death Scroll, but I didn't find that one worked very well. If Lydia has learned the Swarm spell, she can also inflict weevils on an enemy.
