Hi there,

30 minutes after what time GMT?

Sorry if that's a dumb question :-)

Sad to see the forums go after spending nearly 11 years here. I've made many friends.

I will still be here doing strategy guides/walkthroughs.

Don't forget about the walkthroughs page when you are playing SE's:

Game on!

In other words, they will maintain that part of the website...

Bump so others can find this.

By the way, Saskatil has organized a "Welcome to Pond Friends" party at Pond friends. This is an ongoing party today, starting at 9 am PST which is when these forums will be shutting down.

Apparently, all mods have to come in today to start the process; there is no master switch.

Mods, you can join Pond Friends too!

Bump because the spammers have overtaken the place again

Where to start...

I discovered the forums after breaking my ankle. Had surgeries, complications, stuck in a wheelchair, on the couch for three and a half years; I had no social outlet in real life but found one here.

I would have gone nuts without this forum.

I made friends on the original CCC. Some of us are still together all these years later.

You will see many familiar faces at all the forums they've provided links to.

We could even use coupons for anything and then pay the difference. So like with today's sale, $7.99, we could use the coupon and just pay one dollar. Now we get some message saying that this coupon can't be used for that. We've lived through the spam in the forums, watched people change their fish by posting a few words, learned how to write reviews without revealing the plot and made great friends along the way. I still have all the giveaways like the keychain, stuffed fish and stuff. Big Fish has certainly changed over the years, but even though it's not the nostalgic company we remember, it is still one of the best places to go to play casual games and besides... I don't believe in forever, forever is a very long time. The rains may come again, and these dried up old mud holes just may have fish in them again.

Yup, I remember those days too. :-( When the CCC thread closed Timebomb gave us a forum to continue the CCC, beta, write reviews etc. You will see many familiar faces there http://pondfriends.boards.net/thread/5350/information-welcome-new-returning-members?page=1&scrollTo=359637

Hi,

I just pm'd and welcomed you over there.

Did you find the MC thread okay?

Thanks pennmom.

I really appreciate knowing the series information.

When I find a series I like I will go to the first game and watch the series evolve.

Please spare yourself as a company the embarrassment of having reduced your customers, the players, to this.
Somehow give us hope.

Perhaps you should consider going to ProBoards and create you own forum. You can name it anything you want.

In the meantime, the same reviewers, betas, Sneak Peeks are hosted there.

Hi there,

If you go to Pond friends you can continue to read Penmom, Bisci, Sunny's and other members reviews (submit your own)!

The pond is made up of BFG forum members. There are "New and Upcoming Games" Sneak Peeks - games which should be coming out this week and perhaps next week as well.

There are game discussion areas

There is the chit chat room if you would like to socialize.

And, we even have an adventure games area. Always wanted to play that Sherlock game you got stuck on? Come play it in a group!

We have all been where you are right now and are hoping to assist in keeping your community together.

Some of the members are organizing a Welcome party for the many of you that have joined. If you remember Haggis, this pays homage to her.

Another senior checking in :-)

Europe has rules even now that are much more strict. Google for instance has been in court for years over there.

You just have to read every privacy notification t the sites.

I'm at Pond Friends http://pondfriends.boards.net/thread/5350/information-welcome-new-returning-members?page=1&scrollTo=358886
