I am in Investigation 8 in the Library. I am suppose to go choose the police station on the map but the only thing I see is the Library. How do I get out of this loop... seems that nothing is in the Library. What am I doing wrong?

I reached Investigation 8, but now I am unable to get out of the library. The games says that I should go to the map and choose the police station. The only thing on the map is the Library. Is the game stuck or am I doing something wrong????
