Just want to say how much I've enjoyed this particular forum and how sad I am to see it go. People here have been wonderful, friendly as puppies, humorous, and full of great information and ideas. Made the game play so much more fun. Really felt like a member of the BW2 family. Will miss it horribly.

Special thanks to the Community Managers who kept us up-to-date and cheerfully answered our many, many questions, even some of mine which bordered on the idiotic.

Hope to run into you again in other forums. Until then, may you swim joyfully in clear waters.

Journey, thanks for the tip about Venture Beat. Sadly, I think you're right. Two sentences stood out for me:

"Big Fish operates premium paid mobile games (18 percent of bookings), social casino games (42 percent of bookings), and social games (40 percent of bookings)."

and

"Following the acquisition of Big Fish, we expect Aristocrat will be the No. 2 social casino publisher worldwide."

As Bob Dylan sang, "You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows."

Once members of the BFG community, we've been demoted to simply customers.

It's already started. Talk to the NPC standing to the left (our left) of the guy who gives out the Easter Egg Hunt Quest. He has a mustache and is wearing an easter egg hat.

Yippee!! Off to whack some now-visible bunnies. Time to brush off my "Loves the Developers" banner. They really are the best.

Doesn't seem to be any way to get around it. Checked the Codename
Entertainment forum and people there are experiencing the same problem -- must be a glitch in the game. No more bunnies will spawn while the invisible one remains unwhacked.

Anyway, people have submitted tickets, so let's hope someone in a position to correct it will see them over the weekend.

Dancer, apparently this is a daily type quest. Looks like the town crier will alert when the next one is available.

Don't know if it makes a difference, but I also went to Pompeii, found Eadie (look for a corral with the beastie inside), went to the 4th floor and talked to the quest giver. The beastie was never in my inventory; it had been automatically whisked to the corral.

Hope this helps.

Both the codename entertainment forum and the BW2 wiki are great sources. Just found the first beastie in the Windy Crest SE corner. Happy hunting!

Open your inventory bag and click on the top icon, the one that looks like a wrapped present. Then just enter your code and bingo, your gift arrives.

Ultra, don't think you're missing anything. I fished there normally yesterday but today, after accepting the stocking fish quest, it's no longer working. Nuts!

No problem connecting to the game, but when I click in BushWhacker2 Forums green button, I get the message "Safari Can't Connect to the Server" ("forums.bigfishgames dot com"). Same thing with Firefox.

Easy enough to access the forum either by typing in the URL or going through the BFG site, but that green button really should function.

Christian, you get the pet by completing the quests given you by the little NPC standing bottom right by the skeleton in the Halloween Event area Can't remember them all, but the last one is finding friendship bracelets.

Appears there is yet another redemption code; just tried it and it worked. Found this out at the CodeEntertainment BW2 forum. Guess we FB-phobic and seldom-on-chat folk need to seek out things like this.

Just wanted to say thanks for the lovely gifts from the bunny hunt. It's very nice to feel appreciated as a player. Also nice that I got them rather serendipitously today, my birthday. So again , thanks.

Thanks, Discus. You provided the answer I needed. Don't know how I missed the repetition of the full bar requirement -- blaming a combination of senior moments and eyesight.

Thanks, Erika. I'll give that a try.

Personally can't remember where they are, but found this on the Codename Entertainment forum page: "I found the first axe in a snow bank walking towards the exit. There is an axe behind a tree up near the entrance. It is pretty well hidden. Another one in the left side of the first field. Well hidden little suckers."

Apparently one of them (maybe the second) is a just visible half axe.

Hope this helps.

I just click him on the back and he heads for one of the dead end rooms and then ambush him as he comes back out. Much rather waylay my prey than chase it.

This happens now and again. No need to log out or reboot. Just leave Amicus and return -- problem magically resolved (or at least that's been working for me). I blame those notorious computer gremlins.

It's a tricky one to see. According to the wiki, "Once the drinks shop person appears, you can talk to them, one of the discussion paths ends with suggesting they move elsewhere, next time you load the area the shop has disappeared, leaving a path in the grass which circles up rightwards into the SBA area."

So, look closely around the big rock to the upper right of Pete the Painter's pink statue. There's a faint (to these old eyes, at least) twisting path that leads to the SBA. Hope this helps.
