Yeah, you've got to blame ShazPG. She's the awesome developer who figured it out.

The game should take 8-10 hours to complete. The download looks deceptively small because an awesome compression technique was used to make sure the game doesn't take up too much space on your computer.

What happens w/the cursor? Does it move slowly?

The gate in the backyard of the haunted manor opens the bonus chapter. This chapter won't be in the SE.

Go to Underfall and attend the monster party. There is something at the party that can be used in the temple.

An update was posted yesterday. To make it work, you'll need to make sure to completely delete your old game. crazyisland made a post in another thread about this issue, which should help. I've copied the post below.

crazyisland wrote:When you move an application to the trash on a MAC, you do not delete all the associated files.
I had the orchard problem, trashed the application, deleted the associated files and installed the new MAC version of the game. I was able to play through to the end without a problem.
You can tell that all the associated files have been deleted because I did not have my player profile saved, and had to re-enter the key I got when I purchased the game.
Different systems store these files in different places, but for me it was in the library folder.
In finder, click on your user name (under places, generally next to an icon of a house), then choose library, then choose preferences, where you should find a folder named "A Gypsy's Tale".
Sorry this isn't the best explanation...
To clear associated files I use a programme called CleanApp - it shows you where applications put other files...

So basically, from my experience, the new MAC version has solved the problem, it is just necessary to completely delete all the old files in order for it to work.

We're working on the orchard problem right now.

You might also want to look at Drawn, if you've not played it.

Make sure that you need rain first. Go to the tree house and click on the machines inside. When you click on the right machine, you'll learn that you need a rain potion to make it work.

Hmm... I wonder if it is another color that you need? Maybe purple or orange? Check inside the Haunted Cottage (purple) and Treehouse (orange).

Do you think you may already have put the red paint on the canvas in the Forest Cottage?

Go back to the very first scene (maze entrance), and click on the right side of the screen. When you go to the cottage, make sure to collect all of the crystals so you can get back to the cottage quickly.

First you need to put them in the gazebo.

Both Isabelle and Hepmortula are there, Isabelle advises me to step back and then nothing. I can bring up a hint but not the map and nothing happens. I can see my tools but can not scroll through them. I have just reinstalled the game but I still have the same problem. Also, I did try to do a manual update to get the new version but it came back saying that no game updates were found so I just uninstalled it and downloaded the game again to reinstall it.

The new version that was released on July 8 fixes the problem you have above, but it won't fix a corrupt save game file that happened in an earlier version.

This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download, or a virus. You may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy. It may be possible to skip this check using the /NCRC command line switch. (NOT RECOMMENDED)

I get this message whether I try to download from BFG or from the confirmation email. What can I do?

You should contact BFG customer support. They'll help you fix this.

You should download the latest version of the game (July 8). It won't fix your corrupt save file, but it should ensure that you never have this problem happen again with new save files.

Is Isabelle with you? You must restore her life first.

You need to blast open the crack in the wall by the fountain to find a large cache of gems. You can do this after you wake the girl in the tower.
