You need to set fire to the cart in front of the pub and let him know.

Hi rosierosebud,

You need to use the pliers to straighten the spring from the chair to create a lock pick and then you.....

Think the hint has somehow got jammed up??

Like some other players I cannot SKIP this puzzle or put the gears down, except back in the left hand pile where they come from. Come on Big Fish lets have a fix for this ASAP so me and all others stuck here can get on with the rest of the game. LOL

Hi Hazel53Xby,

Are you dragging the cogs over to the spindles in the lock. If you drop them on the correct spindles they lighten up in colour and can't be moved again.
The skip takes ages to activate( too long if you ask me! ) - all the blood drains from the top of the hourglass to the bottom and then it vanishes activating the skip button.

You need to be dragging the piece to rotate it. So you need to be pressing the left mouse button to drag the piece and then press the right button at the same time to rotate it.

What screen are you on? I remember one on the spot the difference screen on the door - it was a real tricky one to find!

Don't forget you can use your hints, if you have any left!

Are you clicking on the button at the bottom of the journal to close it when you have read all the information about the case you've just solved?
