Hands down the BEST adventure game I have played since Myst. FANTASTIC!!! Kudos to all the developers who put so much work, effort, creativity and talent into this game.
The artwork was lovely and the puzzles were so well integrated. I usually don't keep the music on because I find it distracting, but here I felt it added so much to the ambience of the game and I appreciated that there was different music for each setting - again, this is what I loved about Myst when I first played it so many years ago. Thank you BFG Studios! You have created what will undoubtedly be one of many in a new franchise. My hats off to you and keep up the good work!!!! |

I am stuck too. I really don't want to have to skip, but I had no idea I had to keep track of names of things and you can't get out of the puzzle to hunt for clues, if they are in the newspaper. Very annoying.

This is happening for me too. I downloaded the demo version again today and it is not saving my progress at all. I am trying to play on relaxed mode and it keeps going back to the beginning of the game.
I want to buy the game, but won't until I can "save" my progress. Thanks for your help BFG! And thanks for all the new Mac games that have been released! |

Hi there,
I totally agree. I just canceled my membership. I love casual games and there are a bunch of other gaming sites that offer casual games for Mac, but they don't offer the club memberships like BFG. If BFG would get more of the Mac games the other sites already have I would reactivate my membership. Right now, I have two credits burning a hold in my account, that have been there forever. I really hope BFG somehow gets more games soon. |

I am a Mac user and it seems to me that the clue to the reason why we aren't getting Mac version on BFG at the same time as they come out on Macgamestore, Reflexive and Playfirst is in the reply from the BFG customer service rep.
There seem to be contractual obligations that prevent them from offering these games to Mac users on BFG. That's all I can figure, cause I can't figure why else Build-a-Lot 2 is offered on other Mac games sites, as well as a host of other Mac games, but is not offered here. I originally had a once-a-month plan here, but have since reduced my membership to a once-every-other-month because of this. I appreciate that BFG offers a new Mac game every week or so, but if it isn't in the genre I like then I have to usually wait 5-7 days for a new offering, while other Mac game sites continue to offer new games every day or so. This is very disappointing. I can purchase them at other sites, but the cost of the game is twice what I pay for here, $20. vs. $10., so all I can do is wait and hope they get the game I like... someday.

The Mac version of Cooking Dahs is available on several other sites. Playfirst released the Mac version the same day as the PC version months ago. Why no Mac version today Big Fish??? Why can't you get the rights to distribute this game for Mac users of Big Fish as well as the PC version? I don't get it.

The thing I don't get is there are several Mac games available on other sites, so why can't BFG make deals with those companies to get those for Mac users here?
It seems like they get the PC game way before they get the Mac version. Fashion Dash came to BFG before the Mac version, even though the game maker released both versions the same day. Other game sites release several Mac games per week, while at BFG we are lucky to see more than one per week. At this rate, I have credits stacking up and I don't want to use them to buy Cooking Academy, which has been out for Mac for months on other sites, but only came out on BFG yesterday. Where's Cooking Dash? Where's Sally's Salon? I will most likely be canceling my subscription... right now I am spending money on nothing, when I could be using it to buy games on other sites. |
