Our city has a christmas pageant and Santa arrives in town that day so lots of people take their children to the pageant and then go home and decorate. this year the pageant is on this Saturday and the temperature is forecast for 39C or just over the 100F. I have lived in Oz since the sixties and still find it hard to accept christmas in the middle of summer. In that heat I won't b going to the pageant or putting up my decorations. Will start doing them once the weather cools down to about 25C.
