I have played this level over and over and can't seem to understand how to get the two butterflies down. Appreciate some advice, thank you.

Thank you so much.

I have the glass, went back into the bathroom, however the tub has no water in it. Where do you put the glass at in the tub?

Did anyone get an answer to why their hint button doesn't work? I really don't want to read over ten pages to find out an answer, just tying to play the game and move on with a little help tonight, thank you.

It wasn't boring to me, in fact I thought it was challenging playing against the clock. I am enjoying it, especially after waiting while for a new one. Try it yourself, don't rely on someone else's opinion to decide for you.

I cannot get the drawer handle to work. I've read and re-read the SG, it says to put it in and turn it once. I must be doing something, any ideas?

Are those 'cards' you mention perhaps puzzle tiles?

If so, I can see from the Mystery Heritage: Sign of the Spirit Walkthrough that there is only supposed to be two, which will give you a total of nine, making a perfect square.

If this information doesn't help though, please feel free to get in touch with Tech Support for further assistance by clicking on the green to the right of the page.

If contacting them it may be a good idea to mention that uninstalling is a last resort for you, they will totally understand that and will tailor their advice with this in mind.

Best of luck!

Correct there is only suppose to be two cards which I found and applied, but my screen is showing one missing, dont know what happened. I will contact support, thankyou,

Well Im having problem with the two playing cards for start the mini game. I found two cards and have put them on the game board, but it says i still need one more. I found both, there is no third, so I cant continue with the game. any suggestions? My computer takes about 6 to 7 hours to download a simple game, I hope thats not what I have to do.

I played the demo for about 20 min and decided it was a game I wanted. I love the atmosphere, and its adventurous which is what I love. I enjoy looking for hidden items, the hidden objects are great as they are not to small or to dark to find. I think the Devs did a great job on making this very entertaining. this game is keeping my attention, that is the first requirement before I buy. So far I have not been disappointed, thanks for a great job.

I've been checking back often to see if an answer would come up and so far nothing. I can't seem to advance. I have three items, a boot, canopener and door handle. My hints tell me where to go, get there, hint again, and nothing. I am absolutley stuck, any suggestions?? Thankyou

Yes, you put the screw into the rod reel, and then you can "take the fishing rod." Then you use the fishing rod to pull out the boot (where the "red bobber" is in the water). You "take the boot."

Then I have 1) boot, 2) can opener, and 3) door handle and can't do anything with them...

Same here, I have these three items and cannot figure out what to do, waiting for an answer, hopefully one soon.

I'm adding more to my previous comment. It completely validated then immeditaly jumped way back and is re-validating. It just doesnt' want to download. I have never had this problem and I have microsoft security, so no problem in that area. Any ideas what to do?

I've read a couple of posts and it sounds like there are 3 games in this series. Could someone please name them for me? Thank you, I really like this one and am interested in the other two.

Well I got excited when this game came up for sale so I immediatly bought it. All of thier games have been fun with really good adventure. As everyone has mentioned, great graphics etc. I am hoping this game will become more interesting the further along I go. I hate saying it, but I am becoming bored. Will see what happens, if I can continue to finish it.

Abandoned: Chestnut Lodge Asylum starts out with a well done cutscene that draws you into the a personal nightmare of being chased through a ramshackle building that ends with falling into an elevator pit. You waken to find that in reality, someone else has met your fate. Not a bad beginning for yet another asylum game. And though I'm not a huge lover of the overdone dark and eerie "guess what happened here" game, this one is holding my attention.

Up front options include sliders for music/sound/brightness (note: it would be nice to have a separate volume control for voices); widescreen/fullscreen/stretch fullscreen (for widescreen monitor users who want to cover their screens and don't mind distortion or roll off)/custom cursor. The game also offers 2 game play modes - Casual and Expert but the only difference noted between the two is the amount of time it takes the hint and skip buttons to charge. However, I tested both and can say that Expert mode does not higlight active areas, but does highlight HOS. And there are LOTS of hints given in the journal. Some suggestive hints are given in the text, but they are not blatant, i.e. they don't come right out and tell you the exact tool needed.

The HOS are junkpile style with interactive objects included. So far there seems to be one HOS for every 3-4 scenes. The objects are of good size with none being overly small/tiny. None of the HOS have been reused so far, but I didn't go very far in the demo. There are morphing objects that are very subtly done (bravo) as well as achievements. I didn't find the game or HOS overly dark for an abandoned asylum. The ambient sound FX are well done and suitable and the graphics are very sharp and clear. This game is a definite buy for me because I think it's an excellent story so far, it has great morphing objects and achievements and it's well done technically and its nice to look at. I'll be back to write a full review later.

I really liked your review, very well said!
I bought the game after 15 min of the demo. Am enjoying it. I got excited when I saw the title, especialy the word Asylum, these are the kinds of games I love. Good job Devs. We have had some really great games this month and worth every penny.
Gotta get back to the game, just wanted to post my thoughts.

Absolutely fantastic, it is a dream come true. I love dark, eerie and scary games, especialy if they have an old mansion. This game has it all plus more. Very well done, hidden object scenes are great and the different locations are excellent and beautiful. Devs, you did an outstanding job, thankyou so much, and please, keep these games coming, I never tire of them.

Oh my gosh, been gone for a while and came back to find a perfect game. This is awesome, wonderful, fun playing and full of adventure. Everything I love in a game. Thanks Devs, made me happy.
