The real princess is in the slums. You have to alternate between picking through the trash, and volunteering at the doctor's, to meet her and find out who she is.

I have been trying for the last half an hour to find a link to the customer service chat. The help article for "logging into live chat" is no help - it directs me to My Account tab, which does not contain a link. Asking around in LOBE reveals that no one else - even people who've used the help chat before - have the link anymore.
So ... did BFG discontinue the help chat? If not, could someone who has the link please PM me with it?

My cat used to chase around the neighbor's chihuahua.

Is it a real photo? Or just something whipped up in CGI?

I googled Melamine.
Melamine is an organic compound that is often combined with FORMALDEHYDE to produce melamine resin a synthetic polymer which is fire resistant and heat tolerant.
Does that mean you get chocolate that won't melt in your mouth or in your hand?

My allergies have been so bad today ... twice today, I sneezed for about two or three minutes straight. I can't even breathe through my nose, and I keep sniffling.

Way back around 1985 or so, my dad introduced me to a text game called Rogue. The whole game was small enough to fit on a floppy disk, plus a bunch of saved games too! Being the happily budding reader that I was, I started playing it a lot.
I finally beat it when I was 19.
Anyone else taken 14 years to beat a game from when they started playing?

I would love to hear your thoughts...comparing them to the new games we have today.
I've played all of the KQ games at one point or another. The first four are the really old, text-interface games - "Pick up book" indeed. Five and six are mouse interface games, where you have a set of icons (walk, look, use/pick up, etc). Seven I only played briefly, but I think it has an interface a lot closer to the Azada games.

GeeBee wrote:What are these "walkthroughs" that I keep reading about? Are they for all games? How do I find them?
Personally, I always use www.gamefaqs.com for walkthroughs. If they don't have one, then I go and google for it.
One thing to remember is that walkthroughs like that tend to be written by fans. So if you have a favorite game, and there's not a walkthrough for it, think about writing one yourself!

I would so prefer to cook. Unfortunately, living in a military barracks doesn't provide for cooking beyond a microwave.

POLICE zapped a runaway sheep that was blocking traffic with a Taser stun gun, a weapon issued for use in violent situations.
Motorists trapped in the traffic jam caused when the sheep got out of a field in north Wales in Britain were horrified to see the sheep stunned by police then carried to the side of the road where it continued to convulse, the Daily Mail reported.
They and animal welfare advocates say police did not have to use the weapon on a defenceless sheep.
But officers said they had to prevent the ram "causing major disruption and possible danger to motorists" on the A55, the Mail reported.
Motorist Mark Faulkes said his 13-year-old daughter Amy was distressed after seeing the sheep Tasered.
"We came across a traffic jam and we saw there was a sheep in the road. Everyone had stopped their cars and a few people had got out and were trying to herd the sheep away from the carriageway.
"The police then arrived and they went towards the sheep but it moved away from them. Then one of the officers got out his Taser gun and fired it at the sheep. Then he carried it to the side of the carriageway.
"Amy was very distressed. I don't know if the sheep was all right. When we left it was lying by the side of the road, shaking.
"I thought it was excessive to use a Taser on a defenceless sheep," he said.
A north Wales police spokeswoman said Sparky, as the sheep was nicknamed by locals afterwards, was unhurt.
The RSPCA said it would investigate the incident, which happened last Wednesday.
Home Office Minister Tony McNulty eased restrictions on the use of stun guns last year, saying they could be used "where officers are facing violence or threats of violence of such severity that they would need to use force to protect the public, themselves and or the subjects of their action".

My grandma keeps sending me those yogurt covered raisins - those are pretty good. I don't mind them plain, as long as I'm not eating a whole bunch of them. Now, dried apricots - blech!
I haven't tried raisins with cheerios. But one of my friends got out of the navy, and then started having beerios (cheerios with beer instead of milk) for breakfast. Blech!

I can often do the Dots with a shape leftover - sometimes two. It takes a bit of patience, moving them carefully, just one tiny pixel at a time.
Mouse untrap drives me nuts. If I don't see the solution fairly quickly, I skip it - not worth the hassle.
Equations I've only skipped once. Even on Genius they usually aren't that hard.
