Thank you for posting this - I had no idea there were Butterfly houses - I'll have to find one. We have hummingbirds all year (WA) and lots of other birds in our back yard - we call it our back yard bird sanctuary. A side benefit is that we have very few bugs and I don't use insecticides at all.

One of my memories of being a child is playing marbles. We were so poor, we only had the cheap brown marbles. What a treat it was to win the game and win a cats eye or another glass marble.

I have feeders out for hummingbirds too. There are 6 pairs that frequent here. My son has named one pair Fredrick and Mabel (super extra brownie points if you know who they are) and the other female that's sometimes with them is Sugar.

I've been thinking about getting/making a bat house too. Not sure that we have the right place to put one up, but I hear "if you build it, they will come" That would help a lot with bugs for sure!

I think a lot of the reason kids aren't outside anymore is because of the parents. With a two person working household, parents are too busy to take the kids and teach them to love the outdoors. The kids are put in daycare just barely out of the hospital and then from there tv and indoor activities seem to just take over because it's more convenient.

Luckily, we're able to bring our kids up in a small town with a little bit of land for them to have room to spread their wings a bit. The first thing my 5yo wants to do immediately after school is ride his new bike around the yard. He's been going hunting and watching from the blinds with us since he was 2. He loves to fish, ride horses (when we get the chance), plow on the tractor with dad, camp, etc. We have another little one that's right on his heels. I hope they look back on these times with fond memories.

There's not that many who really take the time to enjoy the world for it's natural fun and excitement anymore. It beats computers and tv anyday in my book.

Sadly, I solved this rather quickly too. But, I started on the easiest level. I'm now replaying it on the hard level and it is definately a challenge. Only 30 secs to find each object can be tricky. I've had to start over several places having only a few objects left to go. I'm really having fun with it!

I was wondering how many people have won in Jackpot spins and in which games. The closest I've ever gotten was (I think) 5 letters in a Bingo room.

Anyone have the great luck of actually getting ALL the letters?

Happy Monday all! Today is a great one for me because it is also our 7th anniversary! Bad part is hubby is at work and I'm at home with the baby so not much for celebrating today. It's okay though because we're still happy with each other and so blessed to have the family we do.

Have a GREAT day friends! Here's some cake and party drinks to share around!

I got mine yesterday and stayed up too late playing it. I it! Very interactive and not just "point & click". The little tricks you can do on the DS that you can't on the PC make it that much more fun and worth the $$! THANKS BFG!!!

Don't feel bad Snugs...my guilty pleasure was I Love NY while it was on too. I loved Rock of Love too for some reason. I'm anxiously awaiting "Rock of Love Bus". It's all so cheesy, but I like my tv mindless sometimes.
I also like:
America's Got Talent
The Pickup Artist
Paranormal State
The Millionaire Batchelor (where he wasn't really a millionaire, but the girls thought he was)

Checked the local store this morning...no MCF. Of course, I'm small town so maybe it's just delayed. The people didn't know anything about it either though. Anyone able to get it today?

Thanks Cesse! I'll definately add that one to my list to look for. I tend to shop the gently read book stores and the local small library since I read fast. If you get any others, pass them on. I'll do the same!

I love a good horror story and it seems very hard to come by lately. I was reading Stephen King, but have found him quite boring as of late. I do enjoy the "Odd" series of Dean Koontz, but still not much of a scare factor. I've read all of Bentley Little I can get my hands on. Just finished "Death Instinct" in about 3 evenings. Noel Hynd has been decent for the scary supernatural thing. I just can't seem to find much horror lately. It all has to do with vampires anymore. I'm more in to the spooks and spectors.

We have 3 dogs. All of them are "rescues" and mutts. Shae was part of the cloning projects at Texas A&M University. She is a Red Lacey and full of issues. We've had her for 8 years and just adore her. Baron is a German Shepard/Corgi mix we got from the SPCA at 9 months. He's little like a Corgi, but looks like a GS. Ranger is just full mutt dog. We found him as a pup at the local park. He was mangy, but luckily otherwise healthy. He's full grown and full of love now. Three is definately a hand full and paired with 2 kids and a silly cat, it is definately busy in our house. I wouldn't trade it for the world!

I'm a 31 yo SAHM in the Hill Country of Texas. I have two wonderful boys (a kindergardener and a 1 yo) 3 dogs Shae , Baron and Ranger , and our resident lazy kitty Pumpkin . I love it here on Big Fish with so much to do. People are so nice and helpful in the games. I am addicted to LOBE and like the bingo and MCF games. Nice to see everyone! I can't believe I just found the forums. Now I've got something else to get addicted too! LOL

I usually play LOBE and Riddle O'the Day every day. I'm not that high on the token count, but I at least get those in every day for about 100,000. One of the bingo boards can be good if you hit a lucky streak.

I hate coming up with screen names and always have a hard time being creative. shishabar is actually the first 3 letters of my dogs' names. Shi=Shiner, Sha=Shae, Bar=Baron. Since I've joined, I've lost Shiner and gained a Ranger, but Shiner always comes first. If I could it would end up being Shishabarrang....but that might be pushing it....

I can't wait for this!! I love MCF and don't have too much that I actually like to play on the DS other than puzzle type games. Looks like I'll get spoiled in a few days with this new one!
