Thanks Snowman and Jules.
That's some strategy Jules! Never in a month (or a year) of Sundays would I ever, ever get to the stage that you are at! It's way out of my league!
So it's the back row of the class for me while I potter along.
But you have put me thinking about building new ports in some of the easier cities.

Am I losing the plot? I have just finished Lisbon.
Are the cities slowly creeping back up to the levels of frustration experienced in Seoul?
I am going back to build up my shipping resources before I chance going near Stockholm . The way the game is going I will definitely need all the help I can get!

Dubai 21 is good for bricks.
I came across it today in the daily event challenge.

Lisbon 11 could be added to that "hit and miss" category .
Try and clear center vertical column near start of this level.
This helped me build first few monuments.
Hopefully someone else will come up with a better level for resources!

Susie that's so well worded that I think I would chance adding Hanoi 8 to the "hit and miss".
That's what got me through until 56. Thanks for 44!

Wow 40k coins! Way outta my league too.
But I'm seriously impressed!

EDINBURGH 17 is good for bricks.
At master builder level it seems to be set up that you can create a lighting bolt in centre on first move. Just played it ten times and each time this worked.

VIENNA 63 not bad for bricks and hats.
Pdominian thank you for all the work you put Into keeping this list going.
It is much appreciated

MONTREAL 49 - 2
Good for bricks and hats.

QUEENSTOWN 109 good for all three.

QUEENSTOWN 53 - 1 and 58 are both reasonably good for bricks and hats.
However neither can be won all of the time.
So I keep going from one to the other to build up resources for
monuments.

Marie1931 I checked back on Los Angeles .
The plane drops were at 2 - 3. 22 - 2. 42 - 4 . 103 - 1.
I wonder if they are still the same.
Seoul your next city I found them at
3 - 3. 56 - 2. 64 - 2. 113 - 3.

TBird is right on the side roads instead of a local you will
find a question mark. It's here the drop occurs .

I am so sorry if I litterally lead you up the wrong path!
It's only in the later cities that they are just two drops per city
and these seem to be in the 40's and 80's

My apologies once again.
Totally agree with you Los Angeles is a tough city to get through.

T-bird I think there is a pattern to the goodies drop from the plane.
Not sure if it's in the first few cities.
( I can't remember so I will put that down
to some of my senior moments!)

There are 2 resource marts in each city through the 40's and 80's.
One of the side paths in each of these will lead to a drop.
So there appears to be two per city.
I find them of great help as they are completely free.

MOSCOW 108
Anyone willing to go back and take a look at this to see if it's wortth adding to Pdominian's excellent list?
I didn't find first two levels particularly easy. However on master
level boosts are automatically given.
I have built the last two monuments on the strength of this.
So for all three 108 is quite good but would love someone else to check it out.

I couldn't believe my luck when I switched on my iPad!
So I grabbed a bite to eat and kept playing with one eye on the tv.
My free lives lasted for a few hours.
I kept relaying cities in Athens to accumulate green gems.
This included some master levels which I tend to avoid when possible.
(I would normally go to Istanbul 105-1 to mine for gems as it gives great returns)
So for me it was an unexpected but extremely welcomed gift!
It gave me a great boost along with my extra coins and extra gems!
Hope to see this feature again in the future!

I often wonder how many cities ye guys have 100% completed?
I only managed to do this with Sidney.

I reckon I've gotten to Istanbul which I have just started on yere coat tales.
By playing later cites using snow mans sage advise I now have over 7000 coins.
Up until these cities I only ever had a handful of coins.
Maybe later on I will go back and play the higher levels.

Neena I would love to join the cruise. Could do with some sun and it sounds like a blast!

Hi, I see that all-done posted about the graphics used in Dubai back in December last year.

I have to agree as I got a really bad migraine as soon as I started this city.

The only way I can get through is by playing for really short periods of time.

I love the game and hope something can be done to help others who may have problems with these graphics.

I'm in Dubai now too. I also dislike these graphics.

I got a really bad migraine when I started this city. So I tried changing the settings on my iPad in the hope that it would lessen the impact.

The only way I can get through is by hopping in and out of Dubai.

Up until this I hadn't fully appreciated the travel vouchers!

Thanks for the welcome!

Marie I totally agree with you it is so frustrating!
Wouldn't it be great if the 24 clock was only activated whilst actually playing and not 24 hours in real time?
That way we would get full use of the travel vouchers.

Yep snowman the graphics are great!
Like you when I get to a city which I have visited in the past lots of memories come flooding back.

Also thanks travbird for the heads up. I will start shipping had forgotten that tip (must be having some senior moments again)

Hi, I have been following this thread since it started and learnt a lot from you guys!

I have to agree with Snowman that the game does indeed change, (mind you being stubborn it took me awhile to admit it). There is no way out of using the HH
His post of 26th April explains how to get through the cities.

Marie1931 go back to Snowman's post of 22nd May. Alas 4000 vouchers doesn't automatically open up next city after the one you have used them on.
Perhaps by using 400 at a time to play in easier cities you may generate more coins?

I have just started in Tahiti and being a senior would have given up long ago were it not for the encouragement I found in this section.
So the next round of drinks is on me ????if I may join you all?
