Is it possible you already have one showing at the bottom of the screen? You can only have one at a time. If you want a different one, use the one you already have and then you should be able to buy a different one. If that is not the case, I don't know what the problem could be.

When you have lost a level and it says "Play", hit "ALT CTRL DEL", then Start task manager. Click on Atlantis and End task.

Not only will you be out of it, when you come back to try again, you will have all the credits back that you had when you started that session of playing. This is especially helpful (even if it is sort of cheating) when you get to really hard levels and your wrist is really getting tired.

I am also stuck on the voodoo island. I am actually playing the CE, but I am trying very hard to not check the strategy guide, just in case that may stop me from getting one of the achievements. But, alas, so far, there is no Walkthrough yet. Or I can't find it. But thanks, Micha1234, for the great, but unavailable, suggestion.

Popcorngal -

Big Fish flushed all the other forums on 8/13/2013 and most commentary is now being fed through facebook. On that fateful day, people scattered among several forum sites (some pre-existing and some brand new ones). One new one that has already gotten 500 members, is pondfriends (.) boards (.) net

You might really enjoy the comraderie we have established there. Stop by and check it out.

Sorry, but this game is just not my cup of tea. Although I do enjoy gambling, when I do gamble, I prefer to at least have a chance of winning some tangible money in return. And I enjoy a waitress bringing me a real, cocktail. So I will continue to go to Tunica, MS (love Sam's Town) to real casinos to satisfy my gambling urge.
haven't tried this one yet, downloading now

If you are just wanting to get out of the scene for a short bit, go to your keyboard and hit the Windows key. Then you can do whatever you want/need to do on your computer, and the game will be waiting for you at the bottom of your screen on your taskbar exactly where you left it. And since, by the time you get to level 24, chances are that you have long since stopped getting any "time bonus" you are no worse off for the time away.

Another tip I have come upon, try to NOT send pieces onto board that will have opposite arrows pointing at each other (unless they are the same color). (a piece being sent from the right side of board will have a left pointing arrow, from top, a bottom facing arrow etc.) Otherwise, you will have to clear at least one of those colors also since the piece has no clear path to exit the board. A piece will go as far as it can till it encounters another piece and if no other piece is in it's path, it will go off the board. Think out what every piece moved is going to do.

And by the time you get to level 34/35 pay attention. Teal has been added and is very similar to green and blue. Watch the pattern on the pieces. No clue what else I am in for. Just got through board 36.

I clicked on one of the 4 penguins across the bottom of screen and it produced bombs that allowed me to clear the area. Hope this helps anyone who is stuck.

Please don't yell at us (All caps is yelling on a computer).

Haven't played it yet, but I think this is supposed to be last of the series.

My solution to the chess game -

After you do the easy levels, it's time to get your handy dandy cell phone camera out.
Most cell phones will take short videos. Hold the camera at a good angle, click any square so it will start that sequence over. Video the computer screen, and then replay your video , (clicking one square at a time to be sure you don't mess up) as many times as it takes to get that sequence. If you mess up, delete that video and do it over again. Repeat for any more levels. I only had to do this for the last two levels.

I have seen several comments, (haven't read all yet) about wide screen option. I have a 23" widescreen with resolution set @ 1920 X 1080. This game fills completely with no bars without a check mark in the option menu. But, a checkmark in the widescreen option box makes it go to what you would expect on a more square screen, like older ones. I have found this to happen on many/most games. So try both with/without the check in the options menu. You may be very surprised. Also, my screen on this computer came pre-set with the 1920X1080 as the optimum setting for a (or at least this) widescreen monitor. Give it a shot. Hope this helps at least a few of you.

And so far, almost finished with the hour demo, I love this game. Searching for only what you actually need, instead of the usual boomerang, button, 5 bugs or spiders, plunger, etc. I'm buying it. Hope the bonus play is significant, but with 1/2 price credits, I can't resist.

another game similar to this is The Da Vinci Code

Except on a much bigger and more difficult scale. If you like a challenge, give it a try.

gillp wrote:Does anyone know how to get past level 8 of 6? I get that far and cannot get any further. Please help!

That is where I have gotten to, section 6, level 8. The bonus you need for this level is (I think) the color bomb. Use it just before they come around the last turn on bottom. If the bonus you have bought before this level is not the color bomb, use it up before finishing the previous level so you will be able to buy the needed one. I haven't mastered it yet, but one day I will get there. at least I hope to.

In opening scene, Did you search in the car and the car glove box?

I have the same issue with this game. Has anyone with the same problem been able to resolve this issue and play the game? If so, please post the solution that made it work for you.

Sound advice, except if you don't know the name of the game, you gotta come here to CCC, not the specific game forum.

At first I thought it was just the custom cursor I didn't like, but after playing most of the demo, I must agree with Smallhaven. This was insufferably boring. A definite no-buy for me.
