My final request to the wonderful mods would be to beg for our inventory to be returned to us. I am tired of being cheated out of the 10 or more coins when we get 15 coins instead of an inventory item. I have boycotted Elephant Games, and since the announcement of the end of the forum, have also cancelled my Big Fish membership.

I have been playing MC since about January 2014, so I am not a newbie, but am just tired of being cheated by Big Fish and Elephant Games. I apologize if it sounds like I am grousing about nothing, but that is indeed my final wish.

Thank you for listening.
Sadie

My name is Sadie and I'm an MC addict.

I have tried to quit many many times, but the other addicts keep dragging me back in, kicking and screaming. I have found that it is easier to quit real life than to quit MC. Now real life won't let me back in.

We have been working on this game that I used to absolutely love. I have been playing this game since January of 2014. But after January 20, 2016 they changed the drop items from the HOS's. Instead of just inventory, they added shards and coins. That was a very hotly contested change at the time. Eventually, we got used to them. But as time passed, the item drop became fewer and fewer. Until now, I can not get an item to drop from the Castle HOS's hardly at all. And almost never will it drop the items you need unless it is specifically for a particular quest, either a blue key quest or a character quest.

In the casino type games, it will often give you some kind of relief from continually losing. Perhaps an occasional mini-jackpot or occasionally a full jackpot. But the Midnight Castle HOS drop will not even let you win a small prize. 1 shard or 15 coins. Very rarely does it give you an item you can use. Even if they kept the shards and coins and at least eased up on the item drops, it would be much better. A 50% drop would be a wonderful thing. That would still give those who need shards their choice and those of us who have absolutely none of the items in 5 specific HOS's a fighting chance.

Those 5 HOs's are the Game Table, the Crypt, the Broken Carriage, the Broken Well and the Belfry. Please consider increasing the item drops. A lot of people have left this game because of the change in items dropping from the HOS. I, myself, am considering doing just that as I have very few items and no way to get them. My friends all have the same problem. They end up having the same items on their wish lists as I did. At least, since I have none of the items, I can buy them for my friends, which I often do.

I am sure it won't change a thing. I was just curious how people would vote, if they had the chance. But I still would like to see it.

Just out of curiosity, how many people would like to see the items dropped from the HOS's again. Obviously it won't help, because I don't think that anyone really cares, but I am curious.

I know I would like to see the inventory item drop again.

Gloria,

You know that I am a good friend and will never drop you no matter how long you need to be off returning gifts. I will keep you there until I quit playing. I will gift you what you need, if you put it on your list, and I do not need a return gift from my good friend.

Love you,
Sadie

Perhaps if you had been able to purchase the items in quantity with coins instead of diamonds, it might have been better.

Personally, I feel the exact same way myself and am seriously considering dumping my Sadie game as well. As was said, an integral part of the game needs the also integral inventory items. Without them, it is just a chore. I can understand the inability to put them on a wishlist, as I have friends from level 8 to 84 who also have those items up on their wishlists.

There is one really really simple solution to the airship complaints. Return the inventory to the HOS. That would mean that people would do more HOS to increase their inventory which would also increase their airship items. By removing the stingy 1 shard and the paltry 15 coins from the HOS and returning the inventory, a person could build inventory and when it reached a comfortable level, they could sell excess inventory for more than the 15 coins, or disenchant excess inventory quicker than receiving 1 shard from the HOS. For example, if I had 100 pieces of 4 different items, I would disenchant 25 from each and receive 100 shards. It would not take long to build up enough for the greedy Trina to take 200 of them. Or to save them up to decorate your private rooms. To do a lot of HOS's just to get the extra 15 coins (when I could have gotten 25 or more from selling inventory), or the lousy 1 shard is most exasperating and causes me and many others to quit doing rounds out of frustration.

This really would help the inventory, airship, coins, and shard problems. Please think about it.

I can understand the feeling that you "need" to level up. I have a lower level game that I play daily. I am having to do rounds on that game due to the expensive levels that I have just finished. However, I also know that the level I am currently on is a very expensive level also. Therefore, I shall do rounds until I am ready to scream, then I stop for a while. My upper level game is topped out currently and waiting for the next exciting update. I don't do as many rounds on it, but I do complete some and do some quests (blue key and gnome quests) as well as the CC. When I need to stop, I do.

Even though I want to level up quickly, just because the levels are there, I stop and do rounds to get enough coins to get through the next level. Puzzles sometimes help delay the screaming, but I know I still have to do rounds. Unfortunately, it is not possible to continue without coins, and I won't put the pressure on my friends to give me coins that I can get myself. Ugh! Back to the rounds now.

I apologize if it appeared that I was misunderstanding the complaint about complainers. I used myself so that it would not be mistaken for anyone else. But for myself, if I don't want to hear about someone complaining, then I just do not read the post, but I would not tell them what they can or can not do. As to the monotonous rounds that are very tedious and boring, they are, unfortunately, a necessary evil to replenish coins or inventory (if you are lucky enough to get some). I just remember what my parents or somebody said to me many moons ago..."if I am pointing my finger at someone else, there are 3 fingers pointing back at me".

Love the game, hate the rounds, but I do them anyway.

Thank you desertdruid. Sometimes I get so frustrated, have to stop, and then go back to it. But now if someone complains because they are frustrated, they get jumped on. Not really fair or nice. The complaints often get you a way to get around what is frustrating you, such as the wonderful advice silver hawk gave. Is this what you want to stop when you say quit complaining? This type of complaining about someone who may be frustrated is not really friendly. I have been playing this game since shortly after it came out, and I am not ready to give it up yet. But I am giving up on the forum, as it seems that no one can express themselves in a moment of extreme frustration, without getting their head bitten off.

My opinion is to quit complaining about someone who has a complaint, because that then puts you in a position of complaining about something.

And what time zone is it that is getting the inventory? At 4 AM EST, it sure isn't my time zone that gets inventory.

NO INVENTORY, NO PLAY!

NO PLAY, NO BUY!

NO BUY, NO SUPPORT FOR BF, EG, OR MC!

I refuse to do any more Daily Quests until our inventory is given back. At 4 AM is the only time I can do HOS's and get inventory instead of SHARDS. I have used up all of my shard of soul and murderer's eye and many other items that used to drop from the HOS. Now all I get are SHARDS. Move the shards so they drop from the morphing flowers, increase the coins that drop from them also and give me back my inventory.

I know that some will not agree with this. Fine. You are entitled to your opinion and this is mine.

Hubby who also plays this game, received an invitation from someone on level 84. As the rest of us are on level 82 and holding, how is this possible?
