Game downloaded fine. When trying to play get message.can't create renderer device HAL. Getting way many errors when trying to play new games

The game freezes at the nurse's station. I restarted, rebooted and I get the same scene freeze

I am using a PC and this games keeps going back to the my games screen each and every time. This is the 2nd HOG that I have bought that doesn't work. I can't even play this game because of the screen switching

I like others get access violation error when I get to the chair on the turtles back. I have tried all suggested solutions and it still gives the same error. HELP
