Thank you, Margoo! It was infuriating watching her dehydrate and pass out repeatedly... Off to try it again

Exactly what I experienced when the game premiered. Still no fixes and I notice BF is mum on the subject. Very disappointing... ![]() |

You got me... I haven't been purchasing too many games of late. Labors of Hercules was the last before another screwed up sequel that hasn't been fixed, Adelantado Book Three. It's so flippin' frustrating when you find a developer/game series you really like and think you can trust, just to find out it's bugged up the bejeepers! Uninstalled/reinstalled twice now, can't open the game. Guess I'm in for a chat with support tomorrow. Bad show, Big Fish. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Running on my secondary pc - Vista Home Premium, 32-bit, Service Pack 2, NVIDIA GeForce GT 610.
Loved the whole Mansion/Garden Makeover Line and own the majority of Playrix Games. Played the demo for 50 minutes and then purchased. First glitch was when installing the library, the cat was stuck up by the desk until I restarted the game. I was confused by the empty flower pots until Austin came with the flowers. My problem is trying to start the game today after shutting down my pc last night. After clicking on the game icon I got a box saying player data is corrupted and that I needed to start a new profile. Tried restarting game from game manager several times; manager closes, acts like it's trying to boot game, then manager returns. Suppose nothing for it but to uninstall/reinstall... Bummer. ![]() |

Great game, great series. The thought had crossed my mind (more than once) that I wish the developers had added a section where you could re-read through the Journal pages and entries that you find. I think it'd be interesting, story-wise. Plus, sometimes I spazzed out and clicked before reading.
![]() Oh, and an Update to this third part to fix the fiddly glitches. |

I don'y think that many fishies caught that you also included detailed written information with the video. I know I read your post days ago and I didn't catch it. Human error, we only see what we think we see, right? Best walkthrough ever... B R A V O ! ! ! ![]() |

If you search YouTube for: Adelantado Trilogy Book (choose) Chapter (choose) you'll run across sipason's marvelous video walkthroughs. And, if you don't feel like watching, there is an in-depth informational listed below the video.
But to answer on the cocoa beans -- 1 - Collect a cocoa bean next to the camp. 2 - Talk to the survivor, then ride the boat to collect cocoa beans. |

(Thanks blackberry32) I hope that this (above) is okay. I claim no credit, all I did was search the forum and sipason's wonderful video walkthrough the compiled it into a Word document and did some editing. I am working on Part 2 -- Secrets, and will post that as soon as I do a play-through on Chapters one, two and three. Seems to be some missing secrets there somewhere... If anyone's interested in my incomplete list for part two, PM me and I'll give you a copy. I appreciate all the help I can get. Edit: Part 1 chapter 3 here because too many characters in original post to edit... XD |

Boy-oh-boy, am I getting tired of this fruitless, frustrating, fuffing, fracking easter-egg hunt!
![]() Okay, I'll admit it, I'm a little OCD when it comes to uncovering every secret in each and every chapter. I'm so frustrated because if the game states that there are x-number of secrets to find, then there should be x-number secrets to flipping find!!! Sorry, fishies, for ranting... just... ....Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaghhhhhh! ![]() Chapter 5 says 19 secrets to locate. I went through it with a fine-toothed comb. I found 18. Anyone with a different result? Or, is this another glitch like in Ch. 3? I adore this series. Have since it first came out on BFG. I'm playing relaxed mode to scope out the land and find everything. However, I don't feel too relaxed at the moment. Yeah, let's play every chapter twice--eh? Any word on an update for fiddly glitches? ![]() (edit to correct numbers as per filhill.) |

What an awesome Christmas Present!
![]() I had actually been replaying Book 1 and 2 for the last week or so, I even tried hunting for information as to when Book 3 would be available. Imagine my surprize and utmost joy on seeing it on offer today. Haven't played it yet, just finished installing, but I am sure that I will absolutely LOVE IT! ![]() Thank you so very much. ![]() |

Was wondering if anyone else has beaten this game. I've managed to expert it under all settings and in both worlds except for this level. It's simply one very long wave.
The geography of the place is awful. ![]() Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! |

Try using the <-Backspace key. I had to backspace to clear the player# name for mine.
Just trying to help here, so I attempted to create another player. First, I clicked on the "Welcome..." space to create a new player. This took me to the "Profile" page where I could create/rename/delete profiles. I clicked on 'Create' and there was slot two; backspaced the player 2 away, and made a new name, clicked OK and had a new profile. I'm sorry you're having such a bad time. I hope this helps. Player interface on this game does leave a lot to be desired... ![]() |

Wow, this thread is emptier than a windsock on a calm day! I've been lurking BF for years, so I suppose it's high time I contribute.
To review: I started of demoing Royal Defense Ancient Menace! because though I love the genre, I wanted to be sure it was both playable and enjoyable. I bought it an hour later and found myself heavily addicted to it for the following four days. The graphics are good. nice and clear on a wide screen. I found the sound effects to be good and the music never annoyed me at all. The play is immersive. The most important aspect to me is to be able to manipulate the pause/play/fast forward buttons on the bottom left side of the screen. Without the ability to manipulate "Pause" before level start or in midst of an attack, defense would not be viable. Remember, you can build during pause. ![]() I began in the easiest setting, and played gaining my 'three shield' expert rating until the Shaman appeared on Level 8. I then started replaying on the normal and hard settings to gain crystals. Crystals are so very important. With them you can purchase the valuable grounds in the levels (and buying one in Easy means you also have access to it on the same level in Hard or Normal, and vice-versa); you use crystals to upgrade your starting cash and monster $ drops; to upgrade your weapons damage/cost/range; to upgrade your tower for more life; and, finally to upgrade your spell damage and cool-down time. That first day I simply lost track of time, I must've played for thirteen hours or so. I had no idea that so much time had gone by. And IMHO, THAT is the sign of a pretty darn good game. ![]() |
