Bought this game based on my experience with the previous four in the series. Wow, what a mistake!

Totally agree with kgustavson : don't bother with the CE, and think before you leap on the SE.

The strategy guide is absolutely useless. Many levels I have to replay trying different ways to get gold. I believe the person who wrote the guide simply sits behind his/her desk and wrote it out without playing the game. I challenge him/her to show me how he/she got gold within the allotted time following his/her own guide. Eg. Hika-Ri Levels 15 and 35.

Thanks, Joe, for your speedy response!

The sliders for both music and sound move, ... just no sound or music!

Mine is Word 7 Home Premium. One thing worth mentioning is whenever I play one of the clutter games, the color of the bottom part of my screen changes ~~ normally it's black, but it changes to pale blue when a clutter game is on. I'm a computer retard so I don't know what that means. Does that have anything to do with this problem?

I have hundreds of games, these three are the only ones without sound.

Again, thanks for looking into this!

Hi Joe,

I understand that you're the developer of this clutter series and have a question for you.

I bought Clutter 1 - 3, but none of them have sound.

Tried to get help from the BigFish Tech Team, but to no avail. Mind you, I'm not complaining about their service. They offered refund, but I didn't take it.

Yes, I still keep all three games even though there's no sound 'cos I do enjoy them. It would be nice if I can have sound. So, can you help?

Btw, I have the same problem as most others with mmex ... whatever, so
Clutter IV is a no go until that's fixed.

Thanks!

Thanks, Daisy!

Just to let you know how this ends:

It worked after I re-installed the game. Unfortunately, when I was up to level 20, it crashed and all my progress was lost when I re-load.

Well, naturally, this did it for me.

I tried the "help" section for "game not saving" and it didn't help. So, I'm asking for a refund.

I swear I'll never buy another game from this developer ever again.

Nonetheless, thanks for your help! Happy Gaming!

There's nothing left on my station list other than the 4th pump. The up/down arrows don't move!!

I bought both the pro and luxury service, but only the pro service appears and I don't know how to switch to luxury service. It's a waste !!!!

I'm going to uninstall and re-install this game.

If it still doesn't save and the snack bar is not on the list, I'll ask for a refund.

I've bought over a hundred games and this is the first game that got me so frustrated...

Again, thanks for all your help! You're a star!!

Thanks, it's the snack bar! I called it the burger joint 'cos I saw the burger ...

Anyway, something may be wrong with my game, 'cos it doesn't show up anywhere on any lists. I don't think I'll be able to make the 3 stars in later levels without the money from the snack bar.

Besides, the game also doesn't save. I've quit 3 times and came back and have to start all over again.

This is getting frustrating and making me regret buying it.

You've been a great help! Thanks!

Thanks, Daisy!

May be I don't have enough money, only 60,000+ and it's not on the bonus list.

I'll play previous levels to get 3 stars to earn more money.

Thanks again!

I love the Airport Mania series so I bought this one.

However, it says the burger joint has been unlocked, but I couldn't figure out how to open it.

Does anyone know? Please help!!

Thanks!

Hi Po,

There's no requirement for population on this level. May be you were referring to prestige.

Here's how I got gold:

- increase to 4 workers
- repair the high rise and demolish the mansion at the same time
- demolish the smaller abandoned house below the high rise and build a cinema
- demolish the other abandoned house and build an arcade
- max both cinema and arcade on prestige
(if you want faster finishing time, about now the number of workers has to be increased to 7 or 8)
- max prestige on high rise
- reclaim all areas on lower left, build 2 fountains side by side on the right with 2 promenades above or below them, max all 4 on prestige
- max prestige also on the 2 promenades on the left
- buy the cottage and demolish
- build the zoo in the space left in lower left section, max on prestige
- build a pumping station at the bottom left corner of the section, this is needed for energy for the environmental center
- buy and demolish both abandoned buildings in the top section, build an environmental center with 5 promenades, 4 horizontal, 1 vertical
- max the promenades on prestige
- upgrade twice on prestige for the environmental center and the goals would have been met

This is one level you don't need to upgrade energy at all.

Have fun!

Shasja,

Please try this:

On the left section, build 4 game arcades around a residential complex, that will give you a population of 400.

Any empty space you have, fill it with promenades, there should be 4

On the middle section, demolish the two multi's, put a water park, below it, put a mansion with 2 promenades beside it.

Another promenade below the mansion on the right.

Max prestige on all buildings and promenades.

Have fun!

Hi Punkin,

May be you can try this:

- repair the mansion
- repair the multi, max on both energy and prestige, then sell
- build a cinema at the very bottom of lower right section, next to the abandoned house, max on both e and p
- build two game arcades beneath the multi, max on both e and p
- demolish the abandoned house and build another game arcade next to the cinema, max on both e and p
- max on e and p for the mansion
- build a high rise in between the arcades, max on e and p
- in the interim, whenever you have $20k, build the oceanarium
- repair the geothermal station, then delete the hydro generator, put a fountain in its place
- max both fountains on prestige
- buy back the multi
- put one promenade beside the multi and one below the mansion, also max on p.

This is one level where everything has to be maxed.

Have fun!

Hi Nana,

Glad you got it, but I can't figure out how you only had 237 for population.

Two game arcades would increase the population of a mansion from 85 to 127, and two of the same makes 254, add the 25 from the cottage, you get 279 which beats the goal of 275.

Anyway, that's why I love the green city series, there are so many ways to get the goals.

Have fun!

Hi fears,

I went back and played the game a second time and realized that the zoo hasn't been unlocked at level 41. Sorry!

Anyway, everything is the same, except for the lower left section:

- Instead of the zoo, build a casino, that's all you need; or you can just build two game arcades, they're simpler and less costly to build --- same income as a casino
- don't sell the mansion or you'll need to buy it back for the money goal.

If you don't want to upgrade energy for the casino and/or the high rise, you can build a solar power plant at the bottom of the lower left section.

As far as population goes, you only need a mansion and a high rise. One game arcade would have increased the population of the high rise to meet the population goal. I had two because I need it for the money goal.

One more thing: since you're not selling the mansion, start the game by deleting the big abandoned house on the lower right and build a cinema first. Then buy and delete the cottage and the old house next to it, build two game arcades. Max on energy first and by the time you're done with this, you would have more than enough money to buy the multi, demolish it and build the high rise.

Have fun!

Hi Nana,

This is how I got gold:

- sell the multi as is
- repair both hydro generators
- demolish the tanker
- on the lower right section, build a cottage, max on both prestige and energy, then sell
- next to it, build a cinema, but only upgrade max for prestige
- buy and demolish everything on the top left section, except the generator
- build two arcades, max on both prestige and energy
- do the same thing for the top right section
- when there's enough money, buy back the multi
- when there's enough money for the solar power plant, demolish the multi and put the solar plant in its place
- optional : add 3 suburbans so money accumulates faster
- when there's enough money for one mansion, demolish one hydro generator
- while upgrading prestige on the mansion, upgrade the solar plant to max, this way, you won't need to upgrade energy for either of the mansions
- demolish the cinema when there's enough money for the second mansion and put two promenades beside the cottage
- put two promenades beside the mansion on top left section
- put another promenade beside the solar plant
- max upgrade for all five promenades to meet prestige requirement
- buy back cottage to meet money goal

i finished @ 09:58 with time to spare.

Hi fears,

Please try this:

- buy and demolish all three buildings top right, build a high rise with two arcades underneath it
- demolish everything on lower right section, build two cinemas at the bottom with a fountain beside them; build the environmental center on top of the 2 cinemas and build two pumping stations next to it
- on the lower left section, demolish the old house, build a zoo, a fountain and a promenade

You would have met the money goal even before you have finished upgrading the zoo.

I'm a fan of the Green City series. However, I'm a little disappointed that the developers have not listened to some of our suggestions, i.e., create something half the size of promenades -- may be call them flower beds or something. I hate having empty spots that I can't fill.

Also, I find this one not as challenging as the two previous ones. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed it.

Keep these coming!

It's frustrating that I've played 20+ levels again and have managed to accumulate only $6500. What's the point in getting gold on all 50 levels, yet still unable to finish buying everything for the company? At least for the first Garden Inc., I managed to upgrade the grandparents house fully after earning gold on all levels. This is a letdown, developers!!!

Wonder has anyone managed to buy everything with just one run of the 50 levels!!!

Green City - Go South (3rd in the Green City series, and 4th, if you include Kingdom's Heyday) is already out on one your sister site, Casual Games. I love this series and I don't want to buy it from another site.

So when is BFG getting around to releasing this game? Or is it true BFG is turning into just a HOG site?

Please get with it ....

Thanks!

I'm with you both on this series, getting really maddening that you have to use all these gems to get gold. Probably the last one I would buy as well!!

I didn't realize that you can purchase gems until I read your posts. Thanks!

However, do you know what exactly do you purchase the gems with? Real money or points or whatever?

Thanks!
