I have gotten back to the cottage and in the forest and can't get paper out of tree and don't have a clue what to do next? Somebody please help me. LOL

I have gotten to the other part of the ship to rescue Tom and I don't have a clue as to what to do next. I am so aggravated at this game. I need to know how to release the water in the aquarium? Thanks
