I'll come back tomorrow and see if I can catch up a bit .. it's back to bed for me now .. I've hit my limit for sitting up for now

I might leave the choccie for another week or so .. til I feel a wee bit better!

I was just starting to get what I thought was going to be just a headcold on my birthday, about a week later I realised that it was going to be a bit worse than a headcold ..but I still didn't expect the flu

I've only had the flu once before and it took me out for nearly 10 weeks!

I've been really sick instead

What started with me feeling a bit 'yucky' turned into the flu in what seemed like overnight

Was too sick to celebrate Mr Bling's birthday

Still not 100% but am definitely better than I was though I get bone numbingly tired so quickly

I don't know what I've missed here .. lots I'm sure!

Oh everyone is so FANTASTIC .. this just tops off a brilliant birthday

Was hard to go back to work this morning after so much weekend indulgence!

Thanky Cher .. I can't tell you how special we were made to feel on the Tramcar .. I maybe sort of .. had a wee bit much to drink they just keep coming around with the wine and champers .. *I'm not a drinker so probably the first half a glass was too much for me!*

I would recommend it to everyone!

I've been reading up online about the River Cruise and the food sounds scrummy there too!
I'm going to have to starve myself for the next two weeks to be able to indulge again so soon!

It seems that I may have had a birthday on the weekend ... one that was not looked forward too

Where did those 40 years go

After the weekend I've had .. maybe it wasn't so bad after all
Was taken off to the city on Friday stayed two nights in a bit of an alright hotel .. with the most BRILLIANT view

Taken out for dinner with family on the Friday night
Woke Saturday morning to breakfast in bed ... eggs, toast, juice coffee, bacon. tomatoes, mushrooms, and sausage

Then taken on a surprise Chocolate Tour around the city where we sampled all different types of chocolates *I'm sure I gained a few kilos* Got a surprise gift of a box of choccies on the tour *where is that chocolate emoticon!!!*

Then another surprise for dinner .. the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant .. 3 and a half hours dining while travelling around the city .. five course and another couple of kilos heavier! Was just spectacular . the food, the service, the traming it around the city while eating

I think I rolled the 5 mins back to the hotel after that!
Another breakfast in bed this mornin, eggs benedict and other assorted brekkie foods ... *add another kilo on there*
I was treated with pressies .. one being River Cruise Dinner with an Abba show *Mr Bling is just going to have to endure the Abba part of it!* that happens in a couple of weeks

A second pressie is another River Cruise Dinner and show .. in all my 40 years I've never been on a River Cruise Dinner .. now I'm going to have two in a couple of months *not that I'm complaining .. I love eating!*
