Vincent was certainly one of the Kings of Horror. In real life he was a gentle man but he had the love of doing horror. He absolutely enjoyed himself for the narration in Michael Jackson's Thriller.

However, there were movies where he played the innocent gentleman and they were weird and amazing to see.

I love a lot of his movies and miss him greatly. Not just for his skills to entertain but his rich voice as well.

"I don't play monsters. I play men besieged by fate and out for revenge." quote by Vincent Price

Author's Trivia time

In chapter 9b I wrote Thad and Kaelan had been friends for 8 years. The two men met each other in the BHA Director's office a few hours after Kaelan had left Sarah at his house the morning after she was attacked by the were-jaguar.

Director Robert Smythe became the Brisbane BHA Director roughly 2 years before that meeting of Kaelan and Thad, which just so happens to be about 6 months before Sarah and Kaelan first see each other on the paintball range.

Sarah first says Kaelan's name the day she and Kaelan have their first paintball game together. However, Kaelan doesn't say her name for the first time until that day he saves her life (which is 2 years and 4 months after he first sees her) on the side of the road after saving her from being killed at the same time as Danny, Abel and Brandi.

Oh... and Katherine's story starts roughly 6 years after the battle at Helidon which is near the end of Sarah's and Kaelan's stories.

Enjoy those fun useless little facts

I have sort of been thinking of getting them published through a do-it-yourself group but just not... sure? brave enough? Definitely chicken hearted lol

Profusely here. Thank you Old_Dad. While I don't share to get the praise it is still a big buzz when I do. There are a lot of good writers here in the ponds and it still surprises me when others include me in that group.

Aw thank you Hon. I have lots to say about other threads but end up being too shy to say anything LOL Funny huh?

Mind you, while I do have a number of other stories in the working, I have a special one that I currently have in the workings. I had the concept for it running around in my head ever since I had finished Sarah's and Kaelan's stories but never wrote it until now Still going to be a while for it though.

Well, I hope you enjoyed Katherine and Thad's story

There will be a break before the next one comes out because I have to finish writing it lol

For those of you who copied and saved Sarah's and Kaelan's stories, make sure you keep them because they are first writings with no edits at all. I have been working on both their stories to clean them up and fill them out. If you are interested in wanting a completed versions (when they are completed) then let me know

However, all other stories have come to a grinding halt with massive writer's blocks in the way *sigh*

to the nature of their fast metabolisms and the stress the changes placed upon their bodies. As far as I knew Toby and Mick were still alive but moved away after Sarah’s death and we never saw them again. All of us were amazed that the two of them always refused to be released from caring for Sarah so they could live their own lives.

Thad and Kaelan died a month ago on the same job and my health declined rather quickly soon after. Kaelan’s house in Brisbane and our home in Caboolture were left to the twins. Blaine, the twins, Annabelle – Thomas’ wife – and my three grandchildren are currently visiting me for my sixtieth birthday and they all look wonderful and we have been having a fun time. They, however, are worried about me. Blaine offered to embrace me to which the twins encouraged. I kindly and gently turned them down. To me, a life without Thad is unthinkable.

I know I have touched very briefly on the things above but I don’t have the energy to go into it all further. Maybe I will later if I am feeling better. Well, I’m tired now so I’m going to bed to sleep. So tired.

The End

the twins never grew out of it either. The child me came back to the foreground not long after Thad and I got back together and I felt more complete with her there. One of the other things Thad remembered, partially anyway, was weaving my hair with the ribbons. With the aid of the romance novel he understood the reason why he had that skill and lived up to its meaning enthusiastically. Naturally, or the twins wouldn’t have been conceived.

Being therian Sarah couldn’t have children so; Kaelan, Sarah and Itztecpatl became the god-parents to the twins and spoilt them something fierce. We five adults were inseparable whenever the men had time off; I never went back to work after the twins were born. As a result Sarah and I spent more time together.

When Thalia turned sixteen Thad and I met with Blaine yet again, but this time it was at my insistence. Blaine had gone totally lawful in his new country and had been since he left me that night. She had taken a liking to Blaine despite everything she had read in Thad’s and my job reports, and everything indicated she was planning on going to him. I had to convince Thad it would be in our best interest to let her or we would lose her forever. I had my job cut out for me in that regard because Thad was against it in the beginning, but gave in at the thought of losing his daughter forever. Thalia was Daddy’s little girl after all. When the four of us met I asked she waited till she had finished school and her hunter training before going to him if he was truly interested in her. Blaine confirmed the bad things he had done to me and that he still loved me in front of her but it hadn’t change the way she felt about him. I told him he had to love her for her not because she was something of me. He agreed. I also asked one more thing; if they so choose to, could they please refrain from her becoming a vampire until after Thad’s and my deaths. They agreed. It was one less worry for Thad and I. Three years later Thalia went to him while Thomas stayed in Australia and eventually married a local girl.

During my forties Scott, Tyrrell and Zac all died on the job at different times during that decade. Robert and Malcolm died during that decade as well. While Brishen went to Africa with a therian he had met not long after the twins were born and we never heard from him ever again. Kaelan survived Sarah and Itztecpatl by five years when the two of them died of natural causes. Therians bodies burn out between their fifties and sixties due

Epilogue

In the days that followed the event in South Australia, Thad and I talked. He explained him seeing the lamp on the breakfast bar had triggered a memory and it started from there. Then he said Robert and Kaelan had ganged up on him and locked him in a room, fed him food and his job reports, and I couldn’t help smiling about it. As a result, he now fully understood and remembered most of the situation regarding Blaine and while he had once again taken a dislike to him over what Blaine had done to me Thad said he couldn’t blame the man for loving me. I told Thad how much I loved him.

* * *

Thad and I never married – thankfully it was one of the things he remembered, but he never regained all of his memories and we managed to cope with that. However, we had twins; the first born a boy named Thomas after Thad’s father and Ryan after mine, and a girl named Thalia after my mother and Asta after Thad’s, ten months after we got back together. The surname on their birth certificates read ‘Lucas-Langley’ at Thad’s insistence. Well, he had said Langley-Lucas but I had it changed at the last moment to Lucas-Langley; it just sounded so much better. He laughed at that. We also had to give the twins middle names so their initials would be different.

Apart from gender, they were identical in every way – from fair skin, auburn hair (lighter than Thad’s and darker than mine), green eyes (darker than Thad’s and lighter than mine), 168cm in height and medium build (once they were in their mid teens) with Thomas weighing a little more than Thalia, and everything else personality and idiosyncrasy wise – and inseparable, even when they were away from each other. They seemed to have a psychic connection to each other and knew whenever the other was in trouble or need. They followed in our footsteps and became hunter-trackers. I guess it was a given since they grew up on our, and our friends’, stories.

Whenever we had time together, Thad and I refused to act completely like grown-ups and as a result we always thought it kept everyone else around us feeling young and enjoying the fun things in life. We made sure our children understood that as well and thankfully
