I have a problem with... McAfee!! I downloaded this game (from iWin, because there you can play it on the demo for 60 minutes). However, McAfee decided to take off a vital file (again!!) from 'Syberia', and each time I reinstall the game, McAfee decides to delete a 'generic' file as a trojan.
This has happened before with a few games just before Christmas, and I am getting real tired of McAfee. I can't play the game now unless I never enable the virus scan again. |

I also got the same message about having removed a Trojan when I wanted to install 'The Princess Bride' game. It said: Installation failed - removed Trojan.
I have McAfee and have all my virus scan programmes up to date. However, when I installed this game from iWin, it came without the Trojan, and played beautifully. |

I bought and really enjoyed this game. It was fun, I was able to play a relaxed mode game, and it had really nice magic tricks and mini games to keep me entertained.
A lovely game all round. |

No, there are no problems with the game for me.
This might sound like a stupid question, but did you buy the game and then have it validated so that it plays longer than 60 minutes? |

If I remember correctly, you need the baseball bat to small the 2 glass bottles that are on the shelf at the right. (Unless that was done in a different chapter). I think you have to move an item away that is in between the drumstand in order to see the vent. Hope this helps. |

I didn't care for this game either. But that's the beauty about sites like this one: you can play it for an hour to see if you like it or not. If not, then just don't buy it.

I have already bought the DVD to this game eons ago from a shop. And to be honest, a game this size I rather have on a DVD than download it from the Internet.

I agree. I was very disappointed to see that there was no 'relaxed' mode, and even though I can play each part within the 25-minute time frame, I don't want to have to check the clock all the time - it makes me nervous and I lose concentration. Why can't the game developers just add the 'relaxed' mode to those games? After all, we buy the games, and should be able to choose whether we want to rush around in a panic or not - I prefer the latter. And I also think that the objects are far too small, and to be honest, I have already quite a few HO games, which are very similar. So I won't be buying this game. *sigh* |

But then it's not an 'Exclusive' to BigFish, if I can download it from the developer's site. I always thought (might be completely wrong here) that BigFish also develop games, and that those with an 'Exclusive' attached to them, are from BigFish direct and only available from BigFish. Still waiting for a BigFish person to give me an answer...

This game is offered here as an 'Exclusive'. Now, I always thought that when a BigFish game has the word 'Exclusive' attached to it, you can exclusively get it on BigFish - at least for a while.
However, I hate to say it, but this game has been out for a short while now at Alawar. So, can someone from BigFish explain to me what exactly 'Exclusive' means when it's attached to a game. |

I have finished the game without any help (apart from the last 2 mirror/red balls game - thanks LizzieK for the help). I have noticed that a lot of people give up too easily and ask for help when it's not necessary. Where is the fun in a game that is so easy, a 4-year old can finish it without problems.
That's what I like about this game, it's not just a simple HO game, but a little bit of brainpower is needed to deal with those really great mini games. Thanks BigFish for a truly wonderful and interesting HO game. |

There are 23 levels in all. And it's best not to use just capital letters when posting. It's considered shouting.

Well, looks like most of you just play the newest (and only downloadable) games. However, I have, for example, games that are 10 or more years old, and they don't play on Vista. In fact, as I said, there are games that have even been upgraded and resold for people who want to play them under Windows XP. But I have not yet seen old games that have been upgraded to play on Vista.
For example, the Broken Sword I and II games are only playable when you have Windows ME or 98. However, these 2 games have been upgraded so you can play them on XP, but not on Vista. That's what I was talking about - I have quite a few rather old games which, I am lucky, do play on XP, but would not play on Vista. Of course, I am now talking mainly about the PC games you buy in shops and don't download from here.

Or seahorses, as the case may be.
Hello to you too, and hope you have a wonderful day - wherever you are and whatever time it is where you are.

I dread Vista! So far I was able to avoid it. My newest laptop still has an XP Operating System (I bought it 3 months before Vista came out), and even though I was allowed to get the Vista upgrade for nothing from the company that made the laptop, I have not installed it.
Why? Because of all my wonderful games that are close to my heart and without I don't want to be. You see, many of my games are 'old' games - some were luckily redone so they actually play on XP, but many of those were made in the good old Win98/ME times, and wouldn't play on Vista (am glad they actually play on XP). So there is my reason why I don't want Vista on my computer, because I mainly use it to play games. (The same reason I don't want a Mac, because most games are still only made for the PC, and especially my older games wouldn't play on a Mac). |

Today it's raining!! *jumps up and down and dances around the room with pleasure* I love the rain (and thunderstorms and hail and high winds and and and...).
Anyway, today is just the perfect day to sit at home, and talking to you all.

Oooh... can I come? Pleeeeaaassssseee? LOL Glad you like the recipe. Unfortunately, here in Europe we don't celebrate Halloween the way you do it in the US. But it's getting there - you can at least buy Halloween stuff now in the shops.

Seeing that Halloween is just around the corner, here is a recipe for a Halloween Punch - for the young and old (no alcohol):
Ingredients 12 oz orange juice concentrate, frozen 12 oz grape juice, white 2 lt 7-Up 1 pt sherbet, lemon or lime green food coloring Instructions Mix together orange juice, white grape juice, 7-Up, lemon or lime sherbet, and several drops of green food coloring If desired, serve with large, buoyant, and well-washed plastic spiders on the top!

I often find that those games you like to play the most are those that are the shortest - at least it always seems that way, because they are so wonderful, and time flies much faster (or rather the game finishes much quicker) than a game that is rather boring and repetitive.
I absolutely love this game - for me it has just the right length. Any longer and it might get a little boring. |

In my opinion? I wouldn't buy it.
