CliveJ, hi no I'm not up north, I live in Galway. Wonder why you haven't got the update?
Sometimes, when I don't see updates in the App Store, I have to shut down iPad completely .
I'm sure you have already tried that.
Hope it shows up soon.

CliveJ I also live in Ireland . I play on iPad and 2 days ago there was an update for gummy drop with Kyoto. Strange that you haven't it yet.
Like you I would like to add my thanks to all those who made and contributed to this forum.
I learnt a lot from it and will miss all the posts.

All-done has posted on thread "Helping hands in Milan" that 2 of these let you buy resources with green gems. I was amazed and delighted to find that at
58.3 for just 4 gems you can get 170,000 bricks and 170,000 hats.
At 116.3 for only 5 gems you can get 200,000 bricks and 200,000 pinks.
Excellent returns and many thanks to All-done for sharing this great find.

Thanks so much for sharing this information. It's a long time since I checked the helping hands to see what was on offer. How naive of me!

All-done I will post a link to this thread on the seniors one. Thanks again!

Abu Dhabi 34-1 is good for bricks.
Pdominian you have done an excellent job which has been much appreciated.
As Lordkalvan has so rightly stated, we will totally understand if you need someone else to take on the updating now, or sometime in the future.
Best of luck at college

Everest is back on again. Just completed it, rewards are 3 shovels, 100 coins and 2 hours infinite play.
Lordkalvan, like you I found it extremely challenging when I played it the last time.
This morning I didn't need any boosts and got through all 5 levels in one go.
So it might be worth your while having another go.

Just did Everest challenge.
Rewards are 3 shovels 100 coins and 2 hours of infinite lives.
It kinda suits me as I have been in bed with the flu last few days.
Now I can go and use up those two hours

Snowman I don't ship if I can get away with it so Melbourne 102 will definitely be my go to when I get that far. Thank you for that.
What I love about this thread is that I often go back to recommended levels, which I haven't completed, to add to my coins.
95,000 coins is quite impressive!

Santas workshop has just popped up on my iPad
Also special on increasing lives from 3 to 5 . It's 50% off so it's $4.99 and an added bonus of 2 hours infinite lives !
I did post about the lives on a separate thread. I'm hoping that those who don't read our excellent informative sometimes quirky posts will notice and avail of the sale if they so wish.

50% off so it's now $4.99 to increase amount of lives from 3 to 5.
Also 2 hours of "infinite" lives given with this deal.
For me this is great as its a long time since the extra lives were on special.

Lawaters, really thankful and relieved to read your post.
I actually think that the resources buy/sell centre had become confusing enough without adding this extra change.

Thanks GamingGrampa and Kailuaauntie I really appreciate your replies.
I had gotten used to the September update and daily was carefull to scroll past the drill to recoup some coins.
After last update this was tweaked again. So now when I sell ie bricks, coins are allotted. Before I can sell hats or pinks it's back at the start, the buying of resources.
So either all of you have had this happen since September, or both me and my iPad are in the twilight zone!
I thought I was confused before new updates but now I'm totally addled!!

Since newest update, after exchanging each set of resources for coins, the resource centre jumps back to the start to buying resources.
This new change has caught me out two mornings in a row.
I've ended up exchanging coins for resources in Istanbul which I don't want.
I better be more alert tomorrow!
Apologies if this sounds garbled but can't word it any better.
Anyone else noticed this change?

I don't really understand if the GD game can automatically add any progress made while off-line, why it can't do the same with the daily chests?
