I have yet to use a skip button in this game.
Just alot of head scratching, and hint buying
Is there a large penalty?

I am @ the Hermit's Den / Tiki Room,
and have unlocked the portal which is now orange.
I am normally quite good @ the slider puzzles {like freeing a car/key}
but even though this one only has 8 pcs, it has me stumped.
When I click on my remaining coins it reads :
Coins can be used to prchase hints and solve challenges.

Can they somehow be used to unlock this next level?
Or does someone have a solution?

I have clicked on all the numbers,
2, 9, 14, 127, 1033, 8722
and they ALL say Bad Answer.
Don't see an option for "none of the above"

Hints are :
1) Read the instructions carefully. Each word is important.
2) In the instructions, is there any reference to the kind of result
you would achieve by dividing by 2?
3) Even numbers are not the only numbers divisible by 2!

OMG! it IS all of the above!

This is an absolutely Awesome game!
Played it some time ago, and was hooked immediately!
So glad to see BFG offering us something other than all those
cookie-cutter HOG's and boring Time-management games.
Way to go, Big Fish!

I agree about the difficulty level, but to keep more of us contented,
if there are really difficult puzzles please allow us a reset or even a skip
once we have snatched ourselves bald.

And as far as the trial hour, yes it's hard to know about compatibility
until you really get into a game.
But in defence of you BFG Guy, the way your team works with us when/if
we do have problems is to be commended.

BFG Guy, we need more Lg. File Adventure Games
Seems what is mostly being offered is Time Mgmt, HOG's & a few IHOG's.
While I play/enjoy many of the newer HOG's & and esp. the IHOG's,
I really am missing the Large File Adventure Games.
Are there plans in the near future to begin to offer more Adventure Games?

6 hrs later
finished it
loved it
used W/T very litle, but did need to rely
on in-game map a bit to save steps
Where's Chapter 2 Reconstruction?

If BFG feels it needs a 'raise',
then up the price of all games by a dollar.
I wouldn't mind paying $7.99 for a game from BFG at all.
But $19.99 for a downloaded game w/o a hard copy
I find a bit extreme.

I am very disappointed. I suppose if all you were interested in was a mindless HOG, then this would be your game.
Rooms and objects are repeated endlessly, and item locations aren't even changed in the few rooms. There's really no story/plot to make it interesting. It's dry, repetitive and boring. Unfortunately I was foolish enough to buy this one and the sequel G.H.O.S.T. Hunters: Phantom of the Renaissance Fair @ the same time, dumb move. Am just now loading the 2nd, hoping for more.....

The game itself is quite good, and worth the time/money I have invested in it,
and I plan on purchasing part 4 AGON: Lost Sword of Toledo as soon as I can.

I do agree with the most of you, and feel like $6.99 for each part a bit steep,
when you can purchase complete large file games from BFG for the same monies.

{Agon was originally released in 2003 outside the US as fourteen downloadable episodes}

Sherlock Holmes : The Awakened ~ Doll/Anvil/etc inaccessible on 1st tries
{playing Remastered Edition}
I'm in Switzerland @ the Black Edelweiss Institute.
A number of items are inaccessible @ my 1st few tries.
ex :
* Rag Doll in Lab
* Pink Crystals in Lab
* Anvil in Maintenance Rm
Walkthroughs I have referenced have all spoken like they would be.
Am I doing something wrong?

How do I gather the buttons when there's always conversation?
If I click I miss part of the conversation.
If I don't click, the chance to retrieve them is often gone along with that scene.

I too am stuck @ University.
Have exhausted all conversation w/Wogglebug & Cutter,
and taken/swallowed all knowledge pills.
However, Wogglebug won't let me exit the building,
stating I can't leave w/o swallowing that pill.
{I have no more pills to swallow.}
I looked @ the GZ Walkthrough and all I can see different there
is that I accessed University immediately after leaving B. Bobbins'.

I am a very blonde G'ma and self-taught on what ever technical stuff I do know.
I don't understand what you are referring to.
I have tried working with my Screen Res, but that didn't help.
and I can't access enuf of the actual Game Screen to change the options there.
In my next life I'm gonna be rich and put 'Rent-A-Geek' on retainer...ROFLOL
